See, when avex or Ayu does something and people complain about it, avex and Ayu don't care about it and they don't see it.

I dont understand this either. people complain because they are not happy. By asking people to tone it down or not complain as much would be the same thing as asking someone who is happy about the release to please not share the joy, it disturbs the complaining.

I think the dvd would have been better received had it not been chosen as the fifth release....Like, I actually think that if they had wanted to make the five-release-extravaganza more exciting, they should have switched the dates for A Classical and the concert dvd. Not like it really matters though, since they would have both come out at some point in time. Whatevs.

Since I was expecting this, I guess I'm not too disappointed or anything.

what if the 5 consecutive items could have been 5 singles, but something like this :

single 1) a song 4 U / melody (+2 PV)

single 2) wake me up / (remixes) (+1 PV)

single 3) missing / Sweet scar (+2 PV)

single 4) snowy kiss / (remixes) (+1 PV)

single 5) Ivy / Bye-bye darling (+1 PV)

Instead of that now we have a nice "classical album" and "dvd/blu-ray" and a new album with new songs

It's one thing to generate a discussion using different opinions. It's another to just whine. But idk I like the fact that people can come together and share their thoughts no matter what, it's just frustrating when people seem to take a loooot of stuff for granted and realize that Ayu could have totally gone some half-arsed Kpop route with her career by now. At least she didn't "re-package" Party Queen with just one new song and consider two months of silence grounds for a "comeback" lol. Sure, the mini albums going on another album is a bit of a surprise and you can dislike it, but guess what? They're going on there and that's that. Just because you have to clear off some hard drive space for her new live DVD doesn't mean it's a joke or a crappy fifth release.

I think commenting on the marketing nonsense that is avex is totally valid as far as complaints and discussions go, but that's something separate from Ayu herself. I don't think she really gets to have much of a say in how they try to sell her stuff anymore. In fact, I think she kind of ignored that whole aspect of her career since I would hazard probably around L's release. Now that she isn't releasing physical copies of singles anymore, they're scrambling. Is it really that difficult, I wonder? Marketing people aren't always the most resourceful when it comes to change.

Since this is a 5 release thing, seems like we won't get any release on April 8th. Maybe she'll start her next tour on that day?

Well, the five releases in the last five months were 'leading up' to the 15th anniversary. That leaves 4/8 potentially open for something.

That is certainly one thing that does NOT go both ways.

No, it doesn't.

Say you're a whiny customer and start getting in staff members' faces constantly because you are not happy with how things turned out or whatever, people may not be okay with that and may even try to tell you to stop but if you're gracious and thanking employees for their kindness or good service, I doubt anyone's going to pay much mind to it.

I agree if people want to conplain they have the right to. If people want be positive they also have the right to do that. People are allow to do and write whatever they want. Don't like the complaining ignore them but don't try to control them telling them not to conplain they have the right to do whatever they want just like you have the right to do the same.

It's not so much the complaining itself as it is the rate at which one complains on the same subject. As I said in my previous post, there's nothing wrong with expressing your displeasure about things a few times (even if it's about different aspects of the issue) but at what point is a person going to say, "I've expressed my displeasure about this a few times and rather than continuing to be upset about this, I would rather expend my time and energy on something that makes me happy instead?" That's what I'm trying to understand. Why would someone want to continuously dwell on things that make them unhappy for long periods of time when they have the choice to do something that makes them happy instead in regards to these releases? At this point, I'm just curious as to the "why" aspect of it more so than the actual complaining itself. It's something that I've seen over the years here but never completely understood. Spanishfan provided one angle of it by just stating that they love to complain, which strangely is a valid reason, lol.

I agree with you. Expending time and energy into something that makes you happy is not the equivalent of investing time and energy into something that makes you unhappy. The difference is that one thing is good for you and the other isn't. It's like the studies that say that laughing is good for your health while constantly getting angry and upset raises your blood pressure which can cause a person to have a heart attack (this example is a bit extreme but the point is the same).

She did make 12 new songs during the '5 months' though, which is pretty good. Quite a few were probably done a bit beforehand (Song 4 u) but hey, that's still a lot!

But really, we are getting off topic and their is no point in talk about it anymore. People are going to complain whether you like it or not. (which i find it kinda of ironic that the people wanting less complaining are in fact complaining every time someone has something to say that they dont agree with)

but on topic:
I wanna see the DVD cover already... i guess we will get that sometime when we get the album.
