Honestly, I'm not surprised at hyde's fan's reactions to the song. The J-Rock fans that I have encountered tend to be... extreme.

@Delicious n Bold: I wouldn't call that song a hot mess to an hyde fan's face. They might take yours off. Also, I'm looking for the perfumes for you on Amazon Japan, but they don't seem to be up there yet. Maybe give it some time? Because when I search Love Note all I get is Shacking Up to Chopin CDs :/ Have you tried the Japanese cosmetics place yet? I really want to go there and see what they have. If they have Angel Heart perfume, I'm going to die of happiness.

i mean i don't even want to complain about people (who likes J-Rock) to judge a chiptune/electronic dance song!!
(and i think most stans are like: omg my fave artists' version is so much better brarara)
I think most of them aren't close enough to appreciate it...
it's like when someone like me who's into all kinds of electronic music to judge about hyde's original version...
all i can say is i love rock music, BUT this is far from good for me!!

i think Kuu did a great job in making it her own song, cause at first listen i didn't even noticed they're the same songs!!
and i'm more than happy she's doing chiptune, i discovered this genre 1-2 years ago and this is like a very unexpected dream come true, so yeah...

My best friend and I (the one who was at AN with me) are going to that cosmetics place sometime. She goes to U of T, too. She's taking Egyptology or something.

It doesn't surprise me that Hide fans wouldn't like Kuu's version, in fact I wasn't expecting them to. Hide and Kuu are like opposites when it comes to artists and image, and the original song was heavy rock, whereas kuu's is electronic, so really not their type of sound. But kuu fan's who don't really listen to rock will prefer her version, so hey, now theres a version of an awesome song for everybody.
