Tomohisa Yamashita Being Strictly Watched Out?

According to an article from Tokyo Sports, former NEWS member Tomohisa Yamashita has been thoroughly watched by the Iijima faction (where SMAP is also under) from the Johnny's Entertainment agency. It was revealed that since going solo, Yamashita has not been doing well with his music career except for the success of his first single "Ai, Texas" which managed to be in number one. The agency still thought of keeping an eye on the idol.

Yamapi was also seen hangout with his known best friend and former KAT-TUN member Jin Akanishi which the agency prohibits as they have such rules for current artists to not go out with him. But photos of them at a night-out together were revealed on the tabloid magazine "FRIDAY" earlier in January which made the agency angry.

With Yamapi currently hosting a variety show titled "Generation Tengoko" and is slated to have a new drama in July, his career is still doing good and fans need not to worry about it.

Tomohisa Yamashita Stars In A New Getsu-9 Drama

Tomohisa Yamashita will be starring in a new drama titled "Summer Nude" apart from his current hosting career. Yamashita will be playing the character of Asahi Mikuriya, a 28-year-old photographer who owns a small studio in a seaside town.

Co-starring Yamashita is Karina who will take on the role of Natsuki Chiyohara, a chef who works in an Italian restaurant in Tokyo and eventually end up working in a beach house owned by Mikuriya's senpai. Mikuriya and Chiyohara share the same fate in love as both were left by their past lovers. In addition, Erika Toda will be appearing as Taniyama, Mikuriya's high school close friend who has always loved him but only receives an unrequited love since Mikuriya cannot forget his past girlfriend who just left him.

It will be later announced which actress will take the character of Mikuriya's girlfriend. This will be Yamashita's 4th lead role in a Getsu-9 (Monday 9PM) slot after Proposal Daisakusen, Code Blue Season 2 and Buzzer Beat. Filming for the love-triangle drama will start in June and it will begin airing on July as Fuji TV's summer 2013 drama offering.

Hooray! I'm waiting for them to be on MSta!! I thought they'll never make an appearance on MSta since it's tooooo late to promote the single, but FINALLY!!

Well from what I know, they already performed in another Johnny's show with the cat costume on so I think the MSta one is gonna be the same.

Guess SMAP will perform on MUSIC STATION 2 weeks later after Tegomas since their 50th single will get released next week

Yeah, I've already saw that. But the difference is they have to stay through the whole show hopefully with that costumes.

I can't imagine just how much time if not people they have to employ for them to get into their kurigumi costumes man lmao

don't get me started on toilet breaks either , luckily MUSIC STATION is only an hour & next week is not a 3 hours SP

They'll probably change into normal clothes after the performance like some artists do.
