I hate to say this but awhile ago I would've kept this thread and my facebook up to date with EVERY SINGLE LAST THING they do, but I've just been losing more and more interest in them lately. I'm not addicted to ANY of the new songs including CL's solo single. I deleted The Baddest Female, Fallin' In Love and Do You Love Me from my computer along with the Live Audio Concert Albums. Plus, I've gotten bored with their fashion and even their performances.

I like the music for Do You Love Me, but I hate the lyrics. They're so wishy-washy. Not the 2ne1 I fell in love with. Whoever's idea it was for them to change their image into something more "approachable" just needs to stop. Now.

I feel the same exact way. I think that's probably why I keep neglecting to update the very first post, sorry guys. I just have pulled away from 2NE1 a little bit more and more over the last year.

And, like you, I started to get rid of some of 2NE1's material to make way for other artists, lol. I didn't even purchase/download the Baddest Female OR Do You Love Me? If this was me with 2NE1 a year ago, I would have been all over that shit lol.

I think it's an accumulation of all the crap that's been going on with them the past year:

1. Made us wait forever for new music, got 'I Love You' and made us wait literally a year for their new material after a so-so single.

2. Kept being told that 2NE1 would come back and were trolled again and again by YG.

3. We were told that 2NE1 would have 'fresh' images, but it's basically the same designers/same crap on repeat. I can even name the same like 3 designers that 2NE1 uses the most (Jeremy Scott, Chrome Hearts, Givenchy) lol.

4. 'Falling in Love' (wow I even had to look up the name because I forgot what it was called) was a weak comeback single.

5. 'Do You Love Me?' is nothing new, it's basically a mash-up of "I'm Busy" (To Anyone), "Scream," and a smidge of "Try to Follow Me". In fact, if you mashed those three songs together, I wouldn't be surprised if the result was "Do You Love Me?"'s beat.

Not hating on the song more than that because I happen to LOVE those three songs, so I was happy with the result.

I mean, I could go on and on but I think I said - about a year ago, actually - that if YG continued to make 2NE1 fans wait, it would be a slap to their popularity, and that is somewhat what's happening now lol.

I mean, over the past year I honestly was starting to think that CL's new career was as a fashion designer.

It really doesn't help that in that interview 2NE1 had a little while ago, CL's answer to the question: "Why do you think groups suffer from the 5-year-curse?" CL answered "Because their contracts were only for that long. 2NE1 still has a good amount of time to go in terms of our contracts so I don't think we will suffer the 5-year-curse."

Like really?

Shouldn't your answer have been something along the lines of, "I think 2NE1 is a great working team and we're all a family and very dedicated to our fans, so we'll stay together for a long time."

Geez. Even Seungri - in his latest interview - said that Big Bang would be together for a while because they were all brothers and loved their fans and couldn't do that to them.

^I think they also lost that unique fierceness thing that made them stand out from ABSOLUTELY EVERY OTHER Asian artist around. It's like they decided to take the "safe route" and go back to just being the average Korean KPOP Group. I'm not sure if I phrased that correctly or not, but I hope it's close enough to get across the right feelings I'm having. What gets me most is after getting some decently good praise from the rest of the world and working SO HARD on their English and everything else in those areas, they just decide to run back to Korea and ONLY focus on stuff in Korea. Even on recent interviews for Billboard and other such Western places they used to try and speak as much English as possible, but now they've given that up and always reply completely in Korean. I'm not hating on them for their background or anything. It's just that WHY OH WHY Did they go to ALL THAT trouble and work just to give up on it? They had plenty of International Opportunities waiting for them.

I would definitely agree with this, their recent performances for 'Do You Love Me?' remind me of regular K-Pop groups where as when they promoted 'I Am the Best' every performance was like INSANELY fierce, unique, and badass. This was to the point where I thought the stage would explode at the end.

And I agree with the International promotions. I feel like they just cheated and did it to gain exposure for their world tour and had no intentions of giving the international fans much of anything in terms of English-language music.

They could have seized upon the global tour as a chance to generate buzz about 2NE1 and then followed it up with English-language music.

I don't count 'Take the World On' and 'Gettin' Dumb' or whatever that crap song was.

^Not even just their World Tour though. I felt touched at the end of many TV Performances or when they won an award on one that at least one of them (usually CL) would add in a thank you in English to the International fans after they had said the rest in Korean. It just showed that even though they were standing on a Korean stage they still cared a lot about the rest of us as well. Since they've come back they haven't said even one thing in English to us on a stage or in an interview. I feel abandoned after being handed so much.

And Minji is definitely my favorite, but she does speak really slowly/low during interviews ahahahhaa. I think the girls mentioned that to her on one of the 2NE1 TV episodes too. ; o P

Ohh gotcha, well then I would definitely agree with that too. I feel like this year (or at least the past couple of months) has been pretty English-free.

Bom looks not so nice lately, in this interview I kept looking at her chin, because it looked a bit crooked/uneven/strange and kinda, longer? I think she got the chin filler, yikes. I hate that chin surgery though it's that huge in Korea now

the problem with the chin fillers is that they never get to look good after the first surgery, usually you need to do it multiple times

other than that what I've noticed and is a bit funny, is how the girls teeth are that bad, they're white but not so cute, never noticed till these DYLM lips videos. I mean they keep on wearing Versaches etc. it makes me LOL

I've become just SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO INCREDIBLY disappointed in them that I've even unliked them on Facebook. And the only stuff of theirs I have left on my Music Playlist here on my laptop is the 1st Mini (minus Lollipop. i hate that song), To Anyone album and the I Am The Best Mini.
