Namie has been on a releasing spree because she mentioned in interviews that she's actually eager and ecstatic to release new music whereas before her anniversary she wasn't. Moving to her own label and cutting ties with her previous management (which she openly admitted to having problems with) inspired her to record a lot of new music and try new things. She now wants to release music for as long as possible and manage other upcoming artists as well.

I'm happy for her but the quality of her music seems to have taken a backseat since she was given this new found freedom.

I agree. However for me, I really like most of Uncontrolled (minus Hot Girls). It's everything since Feel and a couple of those singles before & after it(including the digital ones) that's just where I stand on the disappointed level.

The title of the song sounds interesting, i hope it's on the same level as Love Story and The Meaning of Us. I'm not here for another Beautiful, that shit was a complete borefest.

It's actually really smart of her to release a ballad at this point in my opinion. While FEEL was really well received it definitely clicked more with her core fanbase than the general public of Japan, TSUKI might do what LS did to Uncontrolled and create some hype for her next LP (only if the song sells well of course, but we know they like their sappy ballads over there so i'm sure it will)

Namie ballads don't tend to excite me that much, but this sounds really pretty and... actually J-popish, for once. That and the scarcity of winter ballads this year makes me think I'm going to quite like this!

^ I think it might mean it'd be released during the January/February period? That would make more sense since it's still winter till then. They mentioned February 2014 in the description but I'm not sure what it says exactly.

For someone like me who isn't fond of Namie's ballads, I actually really like the song. I'm excited for this single release and it seems she's going back to her J-pop sound.
