Sure I love the cute element of ayu.. its totally camp and gay and nice to have them... I wanna see Feel The Love with Ayu dressed in a fat suit swinging down on a giant mirror ball... then disappear behind the mirrorball and emerge as the beautiful diva surrounded by mirror balls! Then go into a performance of Glitter where the mirrorball bursts overhead full of glitter!

I wanna see a dark performance of Ourselves where Ayu is dressed all in black with the wig and the cloak.. surrounded by screens with images of herself from previous years.. with dancers dressed like the guys in the video with masks of her face on.. spray painting x's on her screen and others playing space invaders destroying her face like the video.

I wanna see a performance of Over where she's smashin stuff up on stage.. or even Is this love where screens are exploding behind her as if shes part of the action just like the music vid.. ie she hits the screen it shatters.. cmon lol!!

I wanna see a performance of connected where she is actually connected with computer wires and lazers shooting out her finger tips or with cool glasses that light up and shoot lazer beams!

I wanna see a performance of Rainbow using doubles just like the music video..via screens or stand in's (remember she used to use doubles alot to buy time? another way to buy time instead of that wailing by backing singers) or a denim jacket skirt and boots that change colour using LED's.

I could go on and on and on.. lol she needs to do a mylie cyrus and twerk or something get people talking!! CHANGE IT UP! hey that could even be a new album title and please god please no albums based around her new relationship.. no fiance in the music video it always spells disaster then we are stuck and she is stuck if it goes wrong like the previous two eek!

It would be nice to recreate some of her PVs (to some extend) on the stage, the problem is that the Japanese love same-old-same-old and seems to love to stick to the formula as well, that's the bad side of the culture gap.

PV recreation is not innovative at all. The closest Ayu has come to it iirc is Marionette?

hahaha no but I don't think she has done that before.. I would take a tour that included some elemets that at least linked to the pvs.. for example it would have been a great show to do stuff like this for the 15th anniversary tour?? As its a celebration of her works since the beginning.

Plus connected was an annimated pv so its not a copy to suggest being hooked up to computer wires above the stage with lazers fingertips and eyewear for a performance lol!

The suggestions I made were just plucked from random.. would you like me to give you some ideas that did not include pv elements??

The thoughts crossed my mind as it would have been nice as a celebration of works for the anniversary tour. She has done it to some performances such as fairyland.

Like I mentioned as well the connected idea relates to the name of the song and the pv was annimated so why not come up with concepts that relate.. its not going to be an exact copy is it. Or would you rather keep seeing the same old same old stuff?

M was based in a church so she has killed the wedding dress thing over and over with that one.

The opening video screen of the anniversary live was sooo crap i could have done that using flipagram on my iphone.. then to see timmy wailing away as soon as the curtains opened did not make me think wow this is an ayu anniversary tour.. oh yeah and its just reminded me the dancers were hooked to strings just like shes done before in Marionette pv and performance.. same ideas yet again.. oo and then the cross and the half face mask.. seen it done it .. just respraypainted the cross and mask lol

It was meant to be light hearted and funny..comment.

I don't actually want her to twerk because A) Ayu has never been and will never really been a dancer of any sorts B) it was meant as in create a buzz about herself by changing it up.. cyrus went from plain jane to being talked about by everyone. Of course I dont want ayu to be running around twerking, using midgets in her shows and licking / sticking her tongue at anything that moves.

So overall I meant make a change for people to say wow ayu has put out a fresh music direction, staging and concept. The is different in format from what she's done before/past few years show. It just seems like she has invited anyone that's her pal to be part of the show and keeping around dated dancers.

At least with Namie for example she brings in fresh dancers after a few concerts album eras.. with perhaps only the odd two that are around for longer.

Anyway I'm not trying to bash Ayu I'm just expressing my opinions and thoughts.. sorry it can't all be positive. I enjoy a wide range of Japanese music and culture... I have been to Japan over 15 times in the past 10 years and seen many live shows there from a broad range of artists. Twerking and lesbian'esque girl fan groping is koda kumi's thing, Strong dance performances backed with a great vocal is Namie's thing, Elaborate staging and VOICE is Misia's thing.

Ayu's has a great songs to choose from over her discography. She is not a dancer so her staging is what is needed to make a performance stand out and I love that.. if its fresh. I just want her to open up her song choices to something fresher and stop being so similar with song choice and performance style. Using the same theme different colour.

I guess its only a wish.. change up the dancers, get rid of the arial ribbons, ditch those awful backing singers (use a recording) I was so glad when that high kicking leather chap wearing japanese cher looking woman was no longer there... but instead we now got three more backing singers that can't sing.

Stop singing the evolution~sureal combo and boys and girls! You got loads of songs gurl cmon!

I would like to see a performance of Talkin 2 Myself.. ayu arrives on a black jewel covered Tank with the A symbol on the side. Then during the performance have her and a few dancers under spotlights with rainfall on each of them doing the dance performance towards the end with strobe lights!

Why don't we all make our ideal concert by giving ideas on what you would like to see ayu do.. create a setlist and performance ideas lol!

what about a performance of Game ... ayu appears on stage sitting on top of different tv screens of different sizes.. with two male dancers breathing fire and spinning fire balls on chains! Or what about a GIANT DRAGON that breaths fire! how awesome would that be!

Ok so concert opener.. large screens showing computer circuit boards and wires.. starting up.. digital displays.. countdown timers.. the middle screen opens up to reveal ayu supsended in air connected by wires against circuit board.. connected starts ... lazers come out from lazer gloves and her eyewear is neon!

as she is lowered dancers unconnect her as she performs with the large screens behind her.. robotic dancers... then as the song comes to the end.. clear tubes start to rise up on stage with Ayu lookalikes inside.. wearing all white with masks moulds of her face... the dancers place her in the centre glass tube... as connected comes to an end but with the beat still playing... different colours starts to drip inside the each of the tubes cleverly between two sheets of plastic so shes not actually being covered in anything.. the white costumes get converted into long skirts of the same colour that is filling that tube.. clear water then rinse the colour away from the front of the tube to reveal ayu and the dancers inside in their now colourful outfits and Naturally (wippenberg remix) starts to play.. one by one they all come out the tubes.. ayu last and the screens display coloured powder exploding behind them.. dancers do an awesome dance routine around ayu .. vocals on point.

Monochrome then comes on.. the dancers one by one going back into the tubes.. lowering one by one.. as ayu sings around them.. as they disappear down into the stage.. ayu left solo.. walking down to the centre square runway.. where she is finally lowered as the music continues the mainstage is again the focus ... showing on the screens her being lowered in a huge elevator underground to a bunker.. when she exits the elevator.. she is suited up for battle by the other previously lowered dancers.... they all then climb aboard the jewel tank.. then on the stage the jewel tank appears.. with ayu on top.. Talkin 2 Myself starts...

Actually, that would have been a great concept for the A BEST Live Tour, something even more celebrative. Even if that tour is very pretty anyway
PV linked performances aren't a bad idea at all, though I think Ayu does a pretty good job with tours and CDLs. If she brings some of her stage ideas in her PVs nowdays I'll be happier, lol. But, yeah, instead of using the same symbology eveytime, something connected to her PVs would be niiiice.

Ayu tours every year and she doesn't have an unlimited budget so doing something huge and different every time is just not viable. I wouldn't mind seeing a few different elements added in/taken out, however.

most artists in Japan tour every year though.. I agree budgets do limit things of course.. its more about changes to the freshness of the ideas and song choices.. just more of a structure to the themes.. i swear if i see those clowns and acrobats pop in and out of songs that have no relation to the other outfits on stage I will scream.. they have not been changed out of those clothes since rock and roll circus lol

I love making up Ayu performances in my head! I think the budget has mostly gone for my ideas now though Just one or two innovative, stand out performances in a tour really elevate the whole thing. And it can be relatively simple even but should enhance the music and emotion. I think A Song for XX in DT01 where the catwalk moves out into the audience is great. Or just the outfit for A Museum really makes it stand out.

I would love Ayu do to a performance of dolls in a long floaty dress like M AT07 style on a swing but on a track that goes around the arena but stays still until the instrumental bridge ends, then whoosh around the arena for the final choruses as a long train unfolds from under the dress (and probably held up along the track with wires so it trails nicely)

I've also thought Because of You would be awesome if the catwalk had smallish stairs that raised one at a time as Ayu went up during the guitar bridge and she ends on the spinning platform. Then there would be a stage margin on the catwalk around the stairs where the dancers would go. The sides of the stairs would have screens built into them with dancing silhouettes that match the dancers.

I think Fly High would work well on the crane if she still wanted to use the crane. Or is the Love? performed on the side stage done up as a balcony, lots of emotional hanging on to the rails, falling to knees holding them etc (on the main stage Ayu can see her performance boyfriend and new girlfriend walking along a street, smiling) and during the climax, she would reach out for him and as she did, the balcony would be revealed to be a giant crane mechanism and it would stretch out towards the main stage.

1LOVE performed where the dancers force her into a giant bird cage and to dance. Next song alterna and the cage would be above the stage and move to over the center stage. At the end of the song, everything would go black for a minute while Ayu drops out of the cage unseen. Lights back up - Ayu gone and empty poignant cage.

Something like You Were... sung in a glass cube above the stage, again watching lovers being happy.

I need to stop dreaming!
