This year election is gonna be interesting, will Sashi still claim her number 1 throne from the maxi support she has from Hakata, or will Mayuyu fans be hungry enough to power vote?

I foresee black horses like Yukirin, Jurina or Sayanee.
Yukirin fans has always been loyal to her, while Jurina has growing fans, same like Sayanne, look how fast she's selling out her handshake slots, she's even selling faster then Mayuyu/Yukirin/Milky.
If Sashi has supporters from Hakata, Sayanne could have supporters from Namba to power vote too. Look at how SKE48 manage to claim center of Under Girls last year, or SKE48 Akarin gets into Senbatsu.

I never notice Akarin till she gets in Senbatsu honestly, but looking her performance on stage is awesome, she dance and smile around with maxi energy, she might not be the prettiest girl but you can't ignore her energy.

I definitely want to see Sayanee ranking higher this time! last year I voted for Sasshi. If I could vote this year too I wouldn't do it again simply because I want something new. I would vote for Paruru, Sayanee and Kojima Mako.

But something tells me that Mayuyu wins this year. If she doesn't I'll feel sorry for her.

Sasshi will win again unless she decides to stay out (which she wont). The amount of votes she got last year was INSANE, only something like Acchan's comeback can threaten her victory. The real battle will be in Senbatsu, i think Mayuyu will lose her #2 position this year.

^ 100% agreed. I can't really understand all the hype around sashy, she's more of a comedian than a center girl imo. I can't get why she got this popular. The replacement for acchan should have been YUKO, or mayuyu/takamina. Not...her. XD how did she get this popular?! She also got a scandal, bah. I don't understand akb anymore lately.

she is popular because she is smart and witty. you know, she is that kind of girl with whom you would like to talk to. she'll make you laugh, she'll make you think about some things and I guess people appreciate it more than just being cute. it's really mystery how this girl managed to get to the top if you don't know the Japanese language. and even though she's pretty much clever she never minds to be laughed at and Japanese like it too. she always laughs at herself too btw.

you know in AKB48 group it doesn't actually matter if you're cute or if you can dance or sing. the only thing that matters the most here is your kyara, your character. if you make up your kyara then you'll succeed. but to understand kyara we need to understand Japanese :/

I dont think she needs to work on her "center aura". Basically because at the end of the day the centers of AKB48 are still going to be Mayuyu/Jurina/Paruru and now Kojimako or Naanya. This is just for one single, rest of the year is Aki-P's choice

I agree with you... I understand japanese actually so i kinda understand her kyara and yes, she's funny but she's not that special to me. Yuko was witty and fun as well. Takamina is witty and fun. She's not really all that special...
bah. Plus I can't understand. Minegishi got bared with the fact she had a boyfriend and she shaved her head and lost a lot of popularity. With sashy she had that BIG scandal of going out with a fan and send seminudes photo ecc and...she got center position? what? It's not that I AGREE with what happened with other scandals like that of kasai tomomi, and minegishi and many others, but why different treatment (from the public I mean, I know sashy got "punished" with the whole start from zero in HKT48 thing)

This said I don't have anything against her but I think there are people more deserving in there and sometimes I can't understand akb logic lol.

SKE48's Matsui Rena was given a concurrent position in Nogizaka46! While Ikoma Rina will now work for both AKB & Nogizaka

Paruru, NyanNyan have been transferred to Team A! And Takamina is again Team A's captain!

Miyazawa Sae got a concurrent position in SKE48!! Yay she's back!!!

Yokohama Yui became Team K captain.

and etc. etc.

I don't know all results yet

AWWW sayanee got moved to team K while mantaining concurrent position in NMB48 team N! YESS, SWEET!
KojiHaru in team A. I don't really love this shuffles, I mean, I get why they are necessary but it takes me a while to adjust to new teams etc. I think it's the same for the girls, as takamina stated in the link you gave before. But after all, if it's to let new members shine I'm fine with it.
My, mocchi became team B's captain. And kashiwagi holds concurrent position in NMB?

Many said that with paruru being transferred to team a (which is usually the favorite one for spotlight) and mayuyu being kicked out of it it is sure she won't get #1 this year. Like they don't care about "promoting" her anymore. bah
