What have they done to Dara's hair in the HAPPY MV?

I'm not really sure how I feel about the COME BACK HOME MV. The meaning is really deep. Why did they add that extra part for CL in the song though?

I think the COME BACK HOME mv is a bit too busy visually, I don't know the terminology, but all those fast cut things Kpop mvs love doing. Unplugged MV please. I liked that it was about somebody coming home too, but not how we expected.

HAPPY mv wasn't great but it's refreshing. I can't think of any Kpop mvs where they're actually outside and not on a set. I'm one of the few people who like the song though.

I can post here a lot of k-pop videos sharing the same old neo-futuristic/colorful hair-clothes/advanced technology concept. This is nothing new. And I can also post a lot of k-pop videos sharing that cutesy/girly/english words collage concept, being in a studio box is just a detail when they're all the same in the end.

Try their "Do You Love Me" video, that is for sure not a generic K-pop video from 2NE1.

2NE1 made Go Away, that's a unique video, and still their best imo. That moment when CL gives that 'you're dead' look and the rest of the girls come and you know that guy is going to pay.

I think HAPPY is more original (for Kpop) than CBH, how many idols get to see sunlight in an MV?! CBH's mv isn't bad though, it's just been a long time since I watched a Kpop mv. I forgot how choppy(?) they all are. I liked the mv more once I knew what was coming haha

in any case, i still love the meaning behind the MV. AND having a larger significance itself already puts it above all other K-Pop MVs.

Come back home PV is great...lot better than Mr.Mr. (if you want to compare). But i wish that they will use the storyline more, it will be very interesting...i love the concept.

Still i don't like their music style and vocal style.

I loved MVs, but I personally don't like Dara's bf (not really my type haha) and I don't think Jeremy Scott was necessary in HAPPY xD Though I do agree, HAPPY is quite generic. But woah, it's pretty hard to find a kpop MV without any dance at all

And no, 2NE1 are not the one to make a MV outdoors. BIGBANG's "Blue" comes from the top of my head, could come up with some others later

And "dancing in a box" is mostly a SM concept lol

yeah, dance boxes mv's are more of a SM thing ^^ well, there are a lot of 2NE1 videos that are not generic, try I LOVE YOU too

I think most of 2NE1's MVs are not generic. And generic is not necessary a bad thing, as long as it's not overdone. I sometimes like generic kpop MVs. And I loved HAPPY ^^ and omg Dara was so beautiful when she had long hair!!

Btw, I don't think we'll get a separate MV for COME BACKFLIP HOME unplugged version, because that "extra part for CL" was actually from the unplugged version. Seems like we got trolled by YG again =.=

Yeah, people are misunderstanding things and taking generic as a bad thing. 2NE1 do have a generic videos, every artist have them, but they have also plenty of original ones, and it's not COME BACK HOME ^^'

What's about that "extra part for CL"??? I love her but is it really necessary? O_O Have anyone noticed that part on COME BACK HOME video that CL enters a kitchen and the other girls are doing manual jobs? It's kinda awkward.

I liked that they used part of the unplugged version in the mv. I didn't think it was awkward either, the other girls were doing sciencey things for their rebellion in the digital world. CL was just looking good haha

What was really awkward was how they never showed Minzy's face properly. :/

Well, maybe as she's a leader, they decided to give her a role of a "manager" or a "supervisor" of this science team? Kinda makes sense

But I do find it annoying that CL is getting too much attention lately and overshadowing the other girls. I mean, even when YG released news about this new album, it was all about CL: how she composed many songs, how they decided to include her solo because she's so brilliant, how she's done such a good job overall, how it was going to be her birthday soon and how they're going to release her solo. I'm not saying she's bad or that she hasn't actually done anything, but come on, give other girls some credit as well! If I were Dara, Bom or Minzy, I'd be insulted. And all they got was just a mention that their solos will be include in another album, which YG will probably not release anyway.
