I can't believe Namie is collaborating with the only male J-Pop artist I listen to. This is too perfect o_o

Even though we already knows it's an upbeat pop song I know they'd sound great if they recorded a slower rnb or jazz song like Ken's usual stuff.

This is really funny to me because they both appeared in the drama Watashi ga renai dekinai riyuu back in like, 2011. They weren't in the same episode, but still.

I don't see myself buying the single, but more Namie collabs are always necessary. I've been completely obsessed with Checkmate! lately. :3

I like the preview, but not so much his vocals. His vocals are not nearly as powerful as hers...

And honestly, Namie's REAL voice is even DEEPER than that. They stay auto-correcting her into a woman.

Ken Hirai has an alright voice, but man does he have a lot of ballads. The only song I like by him is fake star which "luckily" isn't a ballad. The preview so far sounds alright.

Just listened again and.......I really like Ken's voice here. Tried him years ago, just 1 song, and hated it and his voice, but I like him here.

With his and Namie's voices beside each other, it sounds like Namie is just speaking and talking her lines, while he is actually SINGING.

He actually carries notes of words and does things with it. Namie tells you what she is saying staccato style and keeps it moving. Though this is nothing new.

Just not the best matchup to compliment her.

Lmfao well this is the first I've heard a male's voice being higher than the female.
Their voices are an interesting mix together though and the song's nice.
But the song sounds waaaaay too much like make it happen in my opinion.
