And yes, her planitb mixes are fantastic. I'm so glad they put that remix of Beautiful World on Singles Collection Vol. 2, since it's far superior to the original mix.

The Antidote Mix of Flavour of Life is my favourite version of the song!
She has some good remixes, although the really interesting ones are all Utada tracks.

I have finally completed my Utada Album collection! Book Off had this 100yen cd junk section, and even the cashier warned me about the CDs being junk. Then I open them up and the booklets are without creases and the CDs are without scratches. The only thing used is the beat up, easily replaceable cd case. The definition of junk in Japan is amazing.

I forgot to get the second singles collection. I had it in my hand, the first press, and I was like 'nah'. I can't believe I said that. And it didn't even cross my mind to buy Sakura Nagashi. I would have bought it new.

I love onigiri . You can fill the middle with loads of possibilities: chicken, salmon, prawn, beef, candies (Nodame), plum (furuba), etc etc. lol.

Really so this is why an onigiri appeared on the cover? I thought it was pretty random, but knowing hikki's (sometimes) eccentric personality, I thought it was alright to see that piece of rice on the cover .

Did you use Japanese rice? The rice must be sticky enough to hold the structure.

Nope! LOL! Thought I could cheese it and just use some salt or something to maybe try to keep it together... That didn't work out well lol. But thanks for the heads up! I'll definitely have to go buy some.

Use short grain white rice. I also like to mix in mirin for flavor.

I dun put vinegar or mirin into the rice. (Wait, is mirin one of the ingredients for sushi rice?? I thought they only mix the rice with vinegar...) I dun really like the strong "sour" taste and usually the Japanese stores around put too much. Probly mirin would be a good choice for me then, since it's has a sweet flavor .

When you try making onigiri again, remember to press the ball (or triangular shape) with both hands. It needs extra pressure. Also, if you dun want rice sticking on your hands, wet your hands with water before shaping the onigiri .


OK, back to hikki... Wait, there is no news from hikki so dunno what to talk. lol.
