Because...one of the albums is called TEARS...

idk, I'm not excited about these releases at all, but it's a good opportunity for people who don't have a lot of her discography to get caught up. I'll pass though.

Yeah cos DEARS & TEARS compiled all 38 singles she released from her debut until her most recent release , inclusive of Fighter/Gift

I'm still waiting for the DVD content, we'll see if there is anything interesting included.. I don't have much hope though ahah.

The albums will come with different first press posters. DEARS will come with poster type A, and TEARS poster type B. If you order (if you can) the set of 2 limited edition, you'll get a specially designed mug.

oh and the premium fanclub live events started yesterday, Mika sang a total of 12 songs, piano voice style. Fans said she made a full comeback and sang amazingly. I guess air yoga did help a lot!

duh ...i noticed that .... i just think the name was not choosen by chance since artist dont have that much input or power over those best . i wish she would do more interviews about it (hopefully soon with the promotion of those best)

Original material wise , yes if you count Fighter / Gift in the mix but other than that , releases wise this year's my least fave

Already Zutto Suki Datta -ALL MY COVERS- was an un-necessary release & the great photoshoot she did for it could have been used for a new solo single release :x

Oh well at least now I have an excuse to get Fighter / Gift as I held back in not buying it as I wasn't sure if both songs + PVs will be included in either Mika or Miliyah's albums

agreed! although i really enjoyed her voice ( really LOVED that photoshoot too ) and those covers were done really well vocally, im not a big fan of all those artists doing cover albums in general . it feels like they have to do a release they have no new material so they do cover ... or that album is a filler in between releases. i know its very trendy in japan ..... so a lot of artists fallow that trend hoping it wll push for higher sales ( since it target both older and younger generation)

if they cover one song once in a while and ad it as track on a whole new album or as b side i dont mind but a whole album full of covers not my thing ( not saying its bad , just a matter of personal taste here).

im just hoping for a whole new album whole new tracks from mika early 2015

I think she might do a tour next year to promote DEARS and/or TEARS ?

If I'm not mistaken , I don't think she has done a tour to promote best albums but we'll see . Both best albums could have been better if she re-recorded some of the songs , like what happened for BEST :x

a tour would be a great way to boost her sales . i really miss her lives ( on tv and tour). hopefully they will announce some good news soon

I don't get it why Sony decided to screw things up . The previous tracklist was way better , this new tracklist doesn't make any sense at all

Mixing old & recent releases all over the place is a sure recipe to disaster
