well let's wait for tomorrow if WALK OF MY LIFE is a BEST of her 15 years, the new Album...
And depending on the tracklist it could be maybe BEST and 12th Album announcment some weeks afterwards... Lets see what we'll get!

Edit: well she had some unused photoshootings last year so i think this will be for DH7 which is expected to be released this year tbh, and don't forget the wedding dress shoot for whatever it was!?

I wonder if it's an actual DH shooting or if it's the album shooting. Cause she hasn't mentioned a photo session this year yet, has she? Unless she's using the 15th anniv. promo pics for the album also...

I hope we'll get more info tomorrow! We can see already that there is no 2 CDs version, so it's an original album or a compilation. I don't think they would put everything together in one disc.

I'm not ready for another Driving Hits. The latest one featured half the songs from Bon Voyage which is her latest studio album. There wouldn't be much to remix unless she went back and did all older songs.

Also there's a rock version of real emotion!? Why have I not heard this?

Also, I don't think an artist can cover oneself... A "self-cover" album would be an album full with new versions of past songs isn't it?

Alright so I officially need an album of all her interludes turned into full songs like Trick and interlude from Bon Voyage, and an album full of studio versions of live remixed songs performed from various concerts. Screw another ~best album~, she needs to get on this asap.

I love the introduction to Trick! the closest thing to a full version is that live one from the TRICK Tour and I wish there was a studio version of that...
the Intro and Interlude to Bon Voyage are also extremely great I love to listen to them so much<3

^no an artist can cover itself
its just like any other cover. It is not like they just resing the song, they usually give them an updated sound and everything, which makes it an old song with a new twist (aka, a cover)

no, a new version is some sort of remix (like Ladies Night ~another night~)
how would you define Cover then? Of course it is also a new version of a song, but since EVERYTHING (music, vocals etc) is changed, it is a cover ... whereas a new version keeps either (like my example, which keeps the vocals)

more over, a new version does not require the artist to lift a finger
a cover on the other hand rolls out a new process of recording, thinking about arrangments, sometimes even twisting the lyrics

For me, walk ~to the future~ is a new version of walk, not a cover.

And I go with the definition of cover by wikipedia: "In popular music, a cover version or cover song, or simply cover, is a new performance or recording of a previously recorded, commercially released song by someone other than the original artist or composer."

I mean, for me it's just a cover if it's sung by someone other than the original artist. In my mind, it's impossible for an artist to cover oneself, it sounds crazy for me that idea hahaha
