The 2nd thread of Ikimono-gakari!

Whoa... Over FOUR months we haven't been updating...really? Why haven't we been updating this??? It seems we haven't really paid much attention as, say, few years back!

Not only that, ALL of the three members of Ikimonogakari are already in their 30s! The last one to reach 30 was Kiyoe, which happened at the end of February! Whoa, time goes really fast... 30s seems to be a bit old, especially for some female vocalists...

Yoshioka Kiyoe - born 1984 February 29 (that's right - a leap year!), 30 years old
Mizuno Yoshiki - born 1982 December 17, 31 years old
Yamashita Hotaka - born 1982 August 27, 32 years old

I'm not sure how long Ikimonogakari will last beyond ten years... And the only Twitter that I can find among Ikimonogakari is Yoshiki's - none from Hotaka, and especially none from Kiyoe...

But I also realized that ikimono-gakari is competing with the likes of KinKi Kids, Berryz Kobo, aiko, and even miwa...wait - miwa!? When was the last time miwa and ikimono-gakari competed in the same week? NEVER!?

Arashi matter aside, only one new song plus a couple of live recordings and the new song's instrumental. Not the first time, though I have to wonder why they sometimes release singles that way...

I'm surprised. First is Arashi, which I don't even want to bother with (since I already talked about it above, but really, why do too many Ikimonogakari or miwa releases coincide with Johnny's releases???), but I'm surprised it's churning out lower sales than flumpool or even Kalafina. Really?

Aging theory? I mean, all of the members are in the 30s, so where are the fans...? Do we also have to consider this "digital music" theory as well?
