Yes, DEEP RIVER's first press is the pictorial disc, just like Distance's first press. Also, people got a special poster (there were 6 versions) when they pre-ordered the album. Sadly, I didn't get one because I didn't specify that when I pre-ordered at cdjapan. Back then you had to pay for the postage of the poster.

I'm sure when she does make another album, at LEAST a small part of it is going to be out of obligation. I DO hope she comes back though, because I definitely miss her music. And it will be blasphemy if she does not do the theme for KH3.

i think most artists (not just utada ) often release albums because they have to respect their contract , now their involment and work put into that release really depends on the artist .

utada always comes up with new creative ideas and very interesting pvs. if sh does release new one i can't wait to hear it

I don't think Utada is one to half ass an album even if it's her obligation. I don't see her like other artists. She reminds me of Mariah Carey who like Utada has the same work ethics.

Utada seems like the kind of person who needs a deadline/contract judging by her interviews

I remember there were only 6 posters in total, but I could be wrong, because this website showed more than 6 pictures. But I remember cdjapan only listed 6, and I think her official website only showed 6 posters as well... I need someone else to confirm tho...

I dun think the calendar card was the official pre-order bonus. I assume that people got that card as a gift when they bought the cd in Japan.

I'm pretty sure it's not going to happen. She loves Evangelion enough to make a song for them to use in their then new movie even though she's on hiatus. You don't see her doing that for KH. You can tell Disney really wants her though because they keep reusing simple and clean/Sanctuary for all kingdom hearts releases. Otherwise they would have moved on by now and hired someone else. I'm pretty sure if she was going to make more music for them, she would have done so by now.

^But there hasn't been a new KH game to make a song for. o.O Traditionally, they only ask her to do so for new games. She was never approached for Chain of Memories or any of the other offshoots.

all over the span of 6 years. The last two being major releases and greatly furthering the main storyline. Hikki's dad even said that unless Disney pays them more for their work, they have no intention of making another Kingdom Hearts song.

Also let's not forget how pissed hikki got when she found out Disney on ice used her song Sakura Drops without her knowledge or permission. I'm pretty sure the window of opportunity has closed. Whatever hope we had for another song most likely just got shot down from that.
