What a nostalgic album, it really does have this feeling throughout entirely and it really worked well.

A ONE isn't really one of my favorites albums so far, but I can really see why people are loving it so much and I'm glad she made it too.
She brought back an old school Ayu that many were longing. It does sounds like a time travel to me, like, how the old Ayu would sound nowadays.

The theme, lyrics, PVs and arrangements are very rich now and it's a great step forward looking a little back to the past I think. I really loved the concept of "she's singing about the relation of herself with her past and her old self" that someone said and I can really see some influences of her earlier career before 2004 I think.
It's nice to see the transition of her between WARNING and Walk, how the loneliness is treated in so many different ways in the album and how it starts with a Bell being simply gorgeous with a bell sounding all by itself.

I'm not really fond of her high-pitched voice, so NO FUTURE wasn't that good to me, as well The Show Must Go On and the lalala's parts in the chorus, they sound so awkward to me xD

On the other side, I still love with all of me Last minute and Walk from the previous releases.
WARNING sounds so good with the rock part of Ayu that I really like and was missing.
Anything for you is like e epic story being told and it really doesn't seem long.
The same goes to Story, which reminds me of the MY STORY period. It really is a simple and beautiful ballad.
And as I really like call and Letter, Out of control is like a gem to me, I don't know why but it made me cry on the first listen. hahaha

In overall a simply gorgeous album that seems to be well planned since its beginning, I'm really proud to see her pleasing so many fans now.
Can't wait to see the concert this year!

This is a strange thought, but I feel like NOW & 4EVA would have fit beautifully on this album. The song seems to really fit lyrically, too. It would have broken some of the monotony if placed in the middle of the ballad section.

I like the song even more haha! I know English natives can find it quite cheesy but her pronunciation is good here.

As regards the album...
I've only listened to the full album a couple of times, but it's been a real improvement since Love songs.
Of course, the songs are far from being creative, the arrangements are quite dated, even cheap sometimes, there is too much going on... But I don't know, it's like Love songs. It just WORKS this time.

I just can't help but thinking about those songs with better arrangements, something innovative, more demanding. It would put the experience to a whole new level... And this album could be really great.

But well, after being not satisfied and critical with FIVE, Party Queen, LOVE again, Colours ; for the moment I really enjoy this album, even if I can see some important flaws.


As regards the booklet, I really like what I see. It immediately brought me back to A song for XX and LOVEppears. I love the simplicity without this cheesy "I'm in love" feeling.

I also noticed the Cartier bracelet came back. But really... I think you're over-thinking with theories or else.

As regards the "luxury" TA limited box... I'm still waiting to order a normal copy through yesasia or registering to TA, but giving the fact that the registration seems like a pain in the ass, the poor effort they globally make as regards non speaking Japanese fans... I'm not sure I will register. Still waiting for that box to show up but... I hope I'm wrong, but I have a bad feeling with this. Avex has always been cheap with packaging. I don't undrestand why they haven't shown it already.

I hope I can get mine until May.
Today I got the mail from Team ayu that it was shipped, hopefully it will reach Tenso tomorrow so I can ship it from tenso in registered air mail (and then it will take around 2 weeks to arrive).

I'm so happy that Tenso gives to choose other shipping methods and not only EMS anymore. It was awful to pay customs and delivery fee just because it was EMS. I don't have to pay both with registered air mail/air mail.

I almost gave up Tenso (and ordering from mu-mo/team ayu) just because of the EMS shipping only method.

I don't understand these comparisons people are making with Story. Referencing MY STORY and now No Way To Say? It's like the case with meaning of Love referencing Days and Secret referencing Moments. Every time a comparison comes up to a song or era I absolutely love, I find it sounds absolutely nothing like the original by comparison.
