The first 5 Ayu-mi-x albums correspond to one of her albums. For example the first ayumix only has remixes on it from A Song For XX which is her first album. Ayumix 2, her second remix album only has remixes on it from LOVEppears, her second studio album, and so on up until 6.

Ayumix 1 - A Song For XX
Ayumix 2 - LOVEppears
Ayumix 3 - Duty
Ayumix 4 - I am...
Ayumix 5 - RAINBOW
Ayumix 6 - Everything from Memorial address up to GUILTY
Ayumix 7 - All 50 singles

So I say pick an album you like of the ones listed, and try that one out. There are plenty of Ayu discography threads in the downloads section to get them. Of course, as it goes with the Ayumix series, there isn't just one album for each. For example Ayumix 2 has 4 albums. An acoustic orchestra album, a nonstop megamix album, an album featuring dj's from europe and America, and an album featuring Japanese DJ's. I know it's a lot to handle, so pick an album that you like, and then from that Ayumix pick one of the cds that interests you the most. For people that don't really care about remixes, you can never go wrong with Acoustic Orchestra.
