KAT-TUN to release their Tokyo Dome concert on DVD

On October 14, KAT-TUN will release a live DVD called "KAT-TUN LIVE 2015 quarter in TOKYO DOME".

KAT-TUN celebrated their debut 9th anniversary earlier in March. The upcoming DVD will feature the second day of the group's Tokyo Dome concert. Both limited and regular editions will contain the entire concert on two discs.

Additionally, the limited edition will come with a third disc with a visual commentary, live footage of four songs taken from solo angles, and a complete version of the karaoke footage for "Real Face" and its making clip.

Kuroki Meisa & Akanishi Jin Considering Having 2nd Child Together

Kuroki Meisa and Akanishi Jin are thinking about having a second child together.

Kuroki has been cast as the female lead in the upcoming NHK drama series "Designer Baby" which will begin airing on September 22. During a press conference for the drama, Kuroki discussed her desire to have another child.

"A second child, a third child, I would just be blessed if I had the chance to have another one," the actress said.

"Designer Baby" explore themes surrounding the genetic engineering of babies according to traits parents want their child to have. Kuroki stated that she would not participate in this, but rather would let nature take its course and accept whatever traits her baby may have.

Kuroki and Akanishi married each other in February of 2012. The couple had their first child, a girl named Theia, on September 23, 2012.

Skechers Sundown Festival 2015 description of INKT

INKT, is a 5 member Japanese rock band. Having released their debut album in November, 2014, they recently launched their mini album “Saisarisu” in April this year to positive reviews. With mostly rock songs in their repertoire, they have occasionally included softer ballads in their album. They will be touring Japan with their “Rebirth of INKT Tour 2015-2016” in December this year, shortly after performing in Singapore at the Sundown Festival.

The translated concert report is rather short but I still repost everything regardless .

Spoiler:

On August 21st, an exclusive show performance by MTR（ex:ViViD) called "Muscle King Party" was held at TSUTAYA O-WEST.

The show consisted of multiple sessions with different special guests, such as the bassist MTR, the vocalist KOKI (INKT), the guitarist SHINPEI (BREAKERZ・MUSCLE ATTACK), the guitarist Ken (ACROSS THE BORDER) and the drummer Hikari Shimamura (Abstracts) with tickets immediately selling out.

It was also the first show for the host MTR, since the breakup of his previous band, so this show was quite a surprise and attracted considerable attention.

Since each member of the show is active in different areas, diverse groups of fans gathered at the venue. Everyone was wondering what the show would be like, and there was a mixed atmosphere of expectation and anxiety.

But once the venue turned dark and the members appeared on stage with special effects, the excitement on the floor increased at once in frenzy. The members played in harmony right from the start, which was amazing considering it was their very first show together.

Hikari Shimamura's anomalistic yet groovy drum was fully entangled with MTR's deep and edgy base guitar sound spiced with a powerful but wildly accurate performance seasoned with sharp sound from SHINPEI's guitar and Ken's delicate artisan phrases, KOKI's powerful voice integrated all the different features to connect the audience to "MUSCLE" with sounds that might just pierce right through your stomach.

During the talk session, MTR broke the ice by saying, "Nice to see you after so long", thanking the fans. Then he introduced each member. MTR has known SHINPEI ever since SHINPEI first mentioned MTR on twitter while answering a fan question about who has the most amazing facial muscles.

KOKI revealed that he was invited to join the show when "MTR was looking for a terrible guy who seemed to be going through some 'self-conscience stage of puberty'" which made the audience laugh. They also started an arm-wrestling tournament between them to decide who was the true "Muscle King".

MTR, the main figure of the day's performance, dominated the battle but stated "Actually I wanted to turn it into a discussion about our favourite body parts, not an arm-wrestling tournament", said MTR, as he half-smiled peevishly.

In the latter half of the show, the audience and performers became as one, wrapping the venue with a tidal wave of enthusiasm until the end of the encore, and the frenzied show of "Muscle King Party" came to an end.

After the performance, MTR said, "This has got to be the most fun, and the most exciting show I've ever had, it reaffirms for me that this, is where I belong to be." His exclusive show would be one-night only, but when asked about future plans, he answered, "I want to do it within this year!!", showing his intention to have another show soon. For me the song is perfect. Really one of the best debuts of a boyband, so glad they were recognized by Rolling Stone. Masumoto and Suga really did a good job, and Koki too, I love the raps.
