I used to like her before but now she's really getting on my nerves.
No offense to anyone but I think she has no talent, she's just image and autotune.
Also she has bad attitudes, I heard she calls people on this Reality show (is it american idol?), she tells participants they got no talent and she had some trouble with other judges before for saying that, she's no one to tell people they have no talent, considering that she's the one that got no talent at all.

Also her eternal fight with Lil'Kim. Lil'Kim is not one of my favorite artists but she's been way longer in the industry: has experience, has a great voice and Nicki is well far from that.

I would like to know why people would consider a true fan of her. She has catchy songs I can't deny that, but there are lots of better artists in the industry. Even Gaga (I hate Gaga) but I can't deny she has a great voice and music. So Minaj, well... I just can't get why some people like her so much.

I like her because she has sick beats, and I enjoy her rapping. She was one of the first rap artists I really liked. "High School" is really amazing by the way. She can sing.

Honestly, it's acquired taste. You don't just simply get into dirty pop music. Especially if you're too used to Japanese compositions. It took me a while to get back into mainstream music; but boy do I dig this crap like no tomorrow. I like my cheap, over-produced, steaming pile of gold pop music. And maybe that's why I dig Nicki and Lady Gaga so much, as well as many more artists.

Bump.

Her new song is out. Pills n Potions

The "I still love" parts are really annoying, but everything else sounds great. I'm looking forward to her new album!

I was expecting something commercial and EDM-esque for the Pink Print first single. Although I'm really surprised and happy that Nicki choose a new path. She had really gone more mature and serious about this song. I don't think she will sell tons with this single and that proves that she's not making music only for the money. Building a concept completely different from her last album is a risk that only few artists take on their careers.

The Pinkprint came out today. Kind of pissed that the Target deluxe edition is defective. Anaconda is an instrumental track. How the fuck does a record company fuck up that bad?

Anyway, album is alright. I can understand why she doesn't want to do pure pop tracks but damn, one or two "Starships/Super Bass" wouldn't have been bad. You can do only do so much ghetto trap/surreal hip-hop songs and have my attention.

EDIT: wrote a quick review of the album
Spoiler:
If you’re a music fan, then you know who Nicki Minaj is. It doesn’t matter what genre you like, you will know her name. How does Minaj’s music fare for her third release, “The Pinkprint?” It’s a mixture of disappointment and good jams.

One of the reasons I really liked “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded” is because Minaj was able to incorporate pop and rap into an album that flows seamlessly. The first sections of “Roman Reloaded” were rap tracks that had Minaj rapping about her fame, power, and loss. Then the pop section of the album was all about having fun, being yourself and learning that sometimes love ends early or through the means of a shitty person. Then the album ended with Stupid Hoe. Basically, “Roman Reloaded” flows so well and shows that Minaj is able to handle many different genres of music.

Minaj stated that for “The Pinkprint” she wanted to go back to her roots. It’s not a bad thing, but it leaves for a very plain album. The first few tracks are amazing, however. “All Things Go” and “I Lied” show vulnerable sides of Minaj that hit the heart. Other hard-hitting tracks that stand-out are “Pills and Potions” and “Bed of Lies (feat. Skylar Grey).” Now, I know what you’re wondering: “Nintendo! What about the collaboration with Beyoncé!?” Unfortunately, “Feeling Myself (feat. Beyoncé)” is one of the weaker tracks. I do enjoy it when Beyoncé acknowledges her flawlessness but the song itself is very weak and unmemorable.

The only other tracks to stand-out were “The Night Is Still Young” and “Get On Your Knees (feat. Ariana Grande).” The former track is reminiscent of the pop sounds from “Roman Reloaded,” while “Get On Your Knees” shows a sexual side to Grande that I haven’t heard yet. Grande should do more stuff like this because she killed it with Minaj. Another track I liked was “Anaconda” but that’s more of a guilty pleasure track. “Grand Piano” didn’t stick to me but the end of that song has a beautiful string section, something I wouldn’t have expected from Nicki Minaj.
I would say more about the other songs on this album, but they all meshed together to the point where I couldn’t differentiate between songs. The only one that I can differentiate is “Only (feat. Drake, Lil Wayne & Chris Brown),” and that’s only because the beat in that song is on fire. The collaboration between other rappers on this album was weak.

Basically, I’m disappointed. The singles were all pretty good (Pills, Anaconda, Only); and the emotional tracks are stellar (Bed of Lies, All Things Go, I Lied) and a select songs here and there (Night Is Still Young, Get On Your Knees) but then everything else is mediocre or unmemorable; or both. Minaj wants to show growth, but I feel like she stayed in place with “Pinkprint;” do I dare say, she may have even went back a step or two? It’s not an awful album, it was worth the listen and the bass in all the aggressive songs make for good turn up music; but there weren’t many tracks amongst the 21 songs to keep me coming back.

I completely agree with yourreview.
The songs you mentioned are good, but not brilliant, except for Anaconda and Pills'n'Potions.

But the rest of the album is really disappointing=( I thought I had bed taste this time, but it's nice to see you think the same way.

It's not a defect. I think all deluxe editions have a different track list with shorter versions for most of the songs than the regular edition because the total runtime has to be under 80 minutes in order to fit the album on one CD.

They should've just made the deluxe edition a 2CD release and avoided this problem.

That's dumb if that's the case because it's literally the instrumental. Nicki doesn't rap at all. I ended up just buying the original Anaconda off of iTunes and implementing it into the album :/

Maybe yours is the only copy like that or limited and now worth money?

So it's the full 4:20 version but without Nicki's vocals? You're right, that doesn't sound right if that's the case.

Here in Canada, Universal is directing buyers to a special website to download the full version of "Anaconda" so maybe it is a mistake?

That's a helluva thing to mess up if it is.

Actually the run-time on the disc was 2:50; so either Nicki's company thought they was slick or it was an actual error. Your theory on the run-time of the disc makes more sense because when I put the iTunes Anaconda into the tracklist; the run time came to 1 hour 21 minutes, just a little above what can fit onto a disc. Weird.

The Night Is Still Young has been my anthem for the summer. I went to a club and they started playing it and I was hella losing my mind haha. Such a beautiful song. I'm excited for her next release, whatever and whenever it is.

I love The Night Is Still Young from her latest album. Also, Trini Dem Girls is amazing.
