I have a feeling that Sakura Negashi will be on her new album. She put FINAL DISTANCE in DR, then COLORS (and Dareka if you consider that as an old song) in UB. I don't really mind Sakura Negashi in the upcoming album if she thinks the song fits within.

^ you're right, I was just using hyperbole.

I think that Adele's sales in this kind of industry are more impressive than Utada's back in 2000. Nobody buys CDs anymore and to sell 5 million worldwide in a week (3.38 million in the states) is astounding. Furthermore, Billboard Magazine has said that if you were to adjust the album's sales to around when Distance was released, it would have sold 7.89 million in its first week in the United states alone. It's insane to think that Adele could outsell First Love in one week.

I suppose that's one way of looking at it, but Adele also has the benefit of singing in English and singing in a genre that is easily reachable to various populations.
