The band performed in Tokyo on January 4. During the concert, it was announced that Kissy was leaving the band.

The audience of approximately 700 people cried out in dismay at the announcement. The band's front man Tanaka Koki asked the audience to continue supporting him and to show understanding for Kissy's decision.

INKT will be continuing as a 4-member band.

KAT-TUN member Kamenashi Kazuya will also be starring the drama, which is based on the novel “Kaito Tantei Yamaneko” by Kaminaga Manabu, who also wrote “Shinrei Tantei Yakumo (Psychic Detective Yakumo)”.

Kamenashi will be playing as a genius thief who uses brilliant tricks to steal the fortunes of the evil, while exposing their deeds at the same time. The drama is set to start airing on January 16.

“UNLOCK” will be released as their 26th single after “TRAGEDY”, which is set to hit stores on February 10.

KAT-TUN's new single chosen as the theme song to Kamenashi Kazuya's starring drama

KAT-TUN's 26th single entitled "UNLOCK" was chosen as the theme song to upcoming NTV drama "Kaito Yamaneko" which member Kamenashi Kazuya will star in.

Reportedly, it's a powerful rock song which Kamenashi describes as "A very KAT-TUN-ish song which only KAT-TUN could sing is ready. It's an aggressive song that would match your image of us."

The upcoming drama "Kaito Yamaneko" is based on Kaminaga Manabu's mystery novel series "Kaito Tantei Yamaneko."

In the drama, Kamenashi will play as a genius phantom thief, Yamaneko, and his co-stars include Narimiya Hiroki and Hirose Suzu.

NTV drama "Kaito Yamaneko" will premiere on January 16th (every Saturday at 9:00 pm).

Prior to the 26th single, KAT-TUN is also scheduled to release their 25th single "TRAGEDY" on February 10th.

Yay! I'm so happy to hear that KAT-TUN's providing the theme song, for "Kaito Yamaneko".

I can't wait to watch it! I also can't wait to hear more of "UNLOCK", since it's sounding totally awesome, so far.

"TRAGEDY" sounds great, as well! While I love all the covers, my favorite is the CD only.

KAT-TUN reveals release date for their 26th single

KAT-TUN's new single "UNLOCK" is set for release on March 2.

As previously reported, "UNLOCK" is the theme song to NTV drama "Kaito Yamaneko" starring a member Kamenashi Kazuya.

The single will have three versions; limited edition 1 and 2, as well as a standard edition. Both limited editions will come with a DVD with different content, and all versions will include a KAT-TUN photo name card (to be chosen randomly among 15 different cards).

On a side note, KAT-TUN is also releasing their 25th single "TRAGEDY" on February 10.

INKT performed for the first time in Singapore on November 2015 at SKECHERS SUNDOWN FESTIVAL 2015. They were very excited to be able to visit another country after visiting Brazil.

As stated on press conference the previous day, INKT brought their rock and upbeat songs that night. All the members were welcomed with excited cheers from the fans, who mostly wore INKT official T-shirts.

At the end of their performance, INKT continuously expressed their excitement to be able to perform in Singapore and thanked all the audience who were very enthusiastic during their performance.

INKT represented Japan to perform in annual event SKECHERS SUNDOWN FESTIVAL 2015 in Singapore. How was their preparation? Check out our interview with the band a day before the event!

-- This is the first time for INKT to perform in Singapore. How did you feel when you first heard that you would be performing here?

INKT: We were very happy. We performed in Brazil before and we thought of widening our market overseas. We were very happy receiving the offer to perform in another country, Singapore.

-- There will be fans from different artists and genres in tomorrow. How was your preparation?

INKT: We will be showing the INKT just the way it is, in front of any kinds of audience. We would like to see how the audience responds to our music.

-- If you were to recommend one song to those who have not listened to your music before, what would it be?

INKT: Our debut song, "Trigger."

-- You released self-titled album, "INKT." Please share a bit about this album.

INKT: This album is something we would like to show live and containing our emotions from the very first day we were formed until the album making was done.

-- You will be continuing your journey with "Re:birth to INKT" tour. What would you like to show in this tour?

INKT: On January we held "Birth to INKT" tour, the next tour is the continuation to that tour, a closing tour. We would like to show how far have we developed since that last tour and to perform our new songs.

-- Recently you joined an event called "SuG Fes" with other bands like SuG and A9. Please share us your experience!

INKT: What an experience! INKT is a very young band while the other bands already have more experience than we do. We could learn from their performance and music. We were motivated to do better in the future.

-- Please share a message to everyone!

INKT: INKT is a very young band. We were born from different backgrounds and we would like to show the originality of INKT. We think we are best seen on stage, now that readers get the idea of this band, probably they would try checking out our lives and like us.
