I had the same thoughts, guess she's just meeting producers and not actually recording with them

There's also a possibility that MADE IN JAPAN TOUR will be a best songs collection tour instead to celebrate A BEST's 15th Anniversary. This would give Ayu more time to work on the new studio album. Then it would be released at some point in the autumn (would be her first since Love songs) and 2017 Tour would be the usual album tour again.

And I'd like the new album be diverse like (miss)understood is♥

Nah if she's already working on an album I doubt it will be released after more than 2-3 months from now. She rarely works on an album more than 3-4 months. (Excluding singles)

We did have an A BEST Live in 2013. So only 2 tours ago. Really unlikely to happen.

I expect it to be like HOTEL Love Songs Tour, where she changed the CDL songs that were from the previous album the newer Party Queen songs, together with some different performances.

I hope it has more songs from the new album than Cirque du Minuit had from A ONE.

Because she's not producting her albums nor releasing them. She's not indie artist who composing her songs, recording them and releasing - she's under big label which have their own vision about direction of career of singers who they employing. She's not even selling well anymore, so she don't have much to say. They'll give her couple of songs from songbank to choose from and we'll get another inconsistent album. Can't you see a pattern? She's trying something new in modern electro-pop style - it's not selling because it's not Ayu which fans used to love. We got "A One" last year so now it's time to "wanna be US-pop singer" again, and than we'll get another ballad album (of course with couple of BEST releases because they'll surely sell better than anything new)...

Reminds me of an interview of back in the day when she stated she wouldn't meet her idols in case they were different from what she envisioned But that was from like, A Best era so she'sgrown since.

Maybe she'll find some inspiration after watching Madonna's shows. I don't like Madonna but her tours are beyond amazing

That's a good point. She released album last spring but it doesn't mean that we'll get another album exactly year after. If she'll release new studio album than I wouldn't expect it earlier than at the end of the year.

BTW who really cares if "Winter diary" gonna be at the new album or not. It was already released and some of Ayu's old songs were released similar way like: "RAINBOW" on "A BALLADES" or "Part of Me" on "A BEST -Black-".
