KinKi Kids Announces 37th Single "Michi wa Tezukara Yume no Hana"

KinKi Kids will be releasing its 37th single "Michi wa Tezukara Yume no Hana" on November 2.

The new single will be a medium tempo song written by Yuko Ando. The lyrics express going down life's path as though it were a dream of flowers. Musically, it will have an ethnic feel.

3 different versions of the single will be available for purchase: a regular CD-only version, and two limited edition CD DVD versions.

News of the single comes days after KinKi Kids released its 15th studio album "N album" on September 21.

KinKi Kids announce schedule for year-end dome concert

The schedule for KinKi Kids' year-end dome concert has been announced.

Every year, KinKi Kids usually hold a concert at Kyocera Dome in late-December, then a concert at Tokyo Dome during the New Year's holiday. This time, the schedule will change slightly with Tokyo Dome concerts on December 22 and 23, then Kyocera Dome concerts on Domoto Koichi's birthday, January 1, and the following day.

KinKi Kids just kicked off their nationwide arena tour 'We are KinKi Kids Live Tour 2016 TSUYOSHI & KOICHI' on September 29. Their new single "Michi wa Tezukara Yume no Hana" is slated for release on November 2.

Man arrested after attempting to rob woman in Kinki Kids ticket scam

Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested a 27-year-old man who lured a woman out to meet him by falsely claiming to have concert tickets for sale in order to rob her.

On September 22, Narumi Adachi allegedly met the woman (43) on the street after he posted an advertisement online in which he falsely claimed to be selling tickets to idol group Kinki Kids, consisting of Domoto Koichi and Domoto Tsuyoshi under the talent agency Johnny & Associates.

As he brandished a knife at her, the suspect Adachi showed the woman a text message on his phone in which he wrote out: “hand over your money if you don’t want to get stabbed”. The suspect then grabbed her purse, but dropped it after the woman screamed. He left the scene empty-handed.

Police tracked down the suspect via a phone number provided by the victim.
Adachi, who has been charged with attempted robbery, admits to the allegations made against him: “I was having money troubles”.
