^on his hands? mmh I'm not sure it's a good idea because the "blue" nivea is very oily. It's a cream I use only before to go to bed because of that. Personally it's not what I would apply before to play flute. But who know? SHINPEI has a different skin and maybe it's ok for him.

That's the only thing I can assume on why SHINPEI included the NIVEA cream in the photo

It makes no sense if he applied/used it at other parts of his body aside from his hands & let alone for him to bring it inside the studio
