Yeah I suppose & if you buy her releases , you don't really feel motivated in buying TOUGH

Frankly you will only buy TOUGH solely for the new photoshoot & the DVD but since I don't buy Mika's singles , I don't mind it so much

Just wish that Fighter & Gift get excluded out and be replaced with other B-side/s if not new material

The general sale ticket line hasn't been announced yet . I myself am quite tempted to go too but the venues that Mika will be performing during Nakashima Mika Premium Live Tour 2017 are really small & exclusive

Like for Tokyo's Future SEVEN , it only can accommodate 250 people

Where will the general ticket sale be announced? Now that Ayu released her dates, I want to try to see Mika too since they're performing around the same time. Also, does anyone know how I would go about purchasing a ticket?

The general sale ticket line has not released yet . Sites such as Ticket Pia , e+ , Lawson might sell tickets to Nakashima Mika Premium Live Tour 2017 (not so sure about Disk Garage)

But knowing the venues are really small , it might be difficult for non fanclub members to get tickets

It's different if Mika is performing 2 sessions on the same day but that's not going to happen sadly

Also Ayu is performing in Osaka around the last 2 dates of Mika's tour (which will conclude in Tokyo) and the Shinkansen cost is expensive but if you buy a JR pass , it wouldn't be so bad I think

When I went back Japan in Jan , I went to Osaka & I wanted to go Tokyo attend a concert but because it was announced so last minute + I was only there for less than a week , I didn't go in the end and let alone the cost of a two way Shinkansen ticket is so expensive I feel it wasn't worth paying for

I will love Mika until the day I die but listening to the new (or at least, new to me--indigo, Koi wo suru, etc) tracks on this album made me so sad.

Her voice used to be superb and now it just sounds strained and tired. I don't know if it's smoking that's destroying her voice or if she just never fully recovered from the injuries she was dealing with but it's painful to listen to. The beginning of 'alone' gave me a little hope, she sings it beautifully, but then it dips right back into the strained high notes and I just...can't.

Cool, thank you so much!! That's super helpful information. I'm asking a friend in Japan to pick up tickets for me from those sites but I'm not going to get my hopes up too much in case the tour gets sold out haha She booked some really small venues

Yeah the venues Mika chose this time round are really small if not it's not called Premium Live for no reason

If you really could score a ticket you will be shocked just how upclose & personal you will be able to see Mika as Premium Live is even more exclusive as compared to going for a Live House concert

is it just me or...in some songs, Mika's voice just sounds like its...up and down and..just not very well controlled. Im not sure. :/ her voice just doesnt sound smooth, while some of the music on the album is really interesting (esp track 6-10)

This WHOLE album is new for me because I havent been following her. I really enjoyed track 6-10

I agree, it sounds like she doesn't have very good control of her voice and she's really struggling to get a lot of the notes out.

I will never forget pre-ordering and then finally receiving my copy of MUSIC when it came out...I had stayed away from listening to any previews and when I heard Hitori for the first time at the end of the album I actually cried, it was so beautiful.

I'm having a hard time coming to terms with the fact that her voice will never be able to wow me like that again.

I listened to TOUGH yesterday and I didn't really like it. I haven't heard any of the singles (expect Koi wo Suru), so almost all the songs in the album were 'new' to me.

As some here commented, she really sounds like she's having a lot of trouble controlling her voice. I never thought she was the most amazing singer on Earth, but her voice (combined with the melodies) were always very soothing and atmospheric to me, but I couldn't feel that listening to TOUGH.

The title track is the only one that sounded remotely interesting to me, but it feels like it doesn't go anywhere. I was expecting a lot of energy during the chorus, but I was disappointed.
