Yea, I wonder if Ultraviolet is going to be a re-cut single. BSC Tour Ended with Ultraviolet and W FACE tour started with Ultraviolet as well, I'm not sure what are they gonna do next but if Shhh! did well as a venue limited single then there's a big chance we'll get another one this tour.

About the new single I guess they were going to use Ultraviolet a real single before the album but gave up on the idea god knows why. Maybe cause of the track with SHINee? I mean, if that's really a thing

That's what I think as well. Probably they wanted to do like a limited single before the album ( like CWCB was e.g.), but just scrapped the idea.
I don't believe in a re-cut single.

But having the purple hair for such a short time does point out they did something with it...
Curious to find out.

As an aside, someone should edit the Discography section. W FACE is officially her 13th AND 14th studio albums. They're not catalogued as a single release. And Dance In The Rain and Shh! are listed as limited release singles, not official singles, so they should be separated from her official single release chronology.

Also, does anyone have a comprehensive list of Koda's PVs and her estimated career sales? That would be kind of neat. And maybe we can also add in that she is like the third or fourth bestselling female solo artist in Japanese history.

Has Koda talked publicly about her declining sales in the last few years? I know Japanese artists typically don't talk about this kind of stuff, but I am curious how Koda feels about her popularity dwindling and what her long term goals are at this point for her career.

DITR and Shhh! are officially counted as her 58th and 59th single. And the W FACE albums aren't labeld with numbers at all. But as they're promoted as a double album and are also listed together on her official site, I count them as one album/one release. So at least I won't change it as long as there isn't anything different confirmed from official side.
I don't go with catalogue numbers, cause every editiom of every release has a own number.


That new piece of a picture from today from the Tour actually looks like the pic from the Ultraviolet postcard from the tour goods. All those pics will be related to the tour, I suppose.

I don't count Dance In The Rain & Shhh! as part of Kuu's official single discography either but since Rhythm Zone state it as so , then so be it

Also for W FACE album(s) , until Kuu release her next studio album , let's see what Rhythm Zone will say if it will be Kuu's 14th or 15th album

For now , I count both W FACE album(s) as Kuu's 13th album , just that I tag each album differently

They are official singles but in limited venue release not like a regular single you can buy anywhere, for that reason is like you feel you won't count them as a normal release but they are.

Okey W FACE is the kuu first album with only one single released before (Shhh!), so they teased Ultraviolet like the 60th single but they only release the new album and nothing more. Seeing the tour goods you can see Ultraviolet being the main theme so maybe will be a recut single, but is not the best song to be re released in my opinion anyway.

Maybe it's something like when ayu released the 6 songs of Colours as venue only singles and they weren't counted as such.

They were just released in a different way but they were always called singles and there was even the whole BSC Tour with 59 dates for 59 singles, there's no reason not to count them when she is.

W FACE albums is worth some discussion tho, I'd label them as separate numbers but everything is being doing like it's the same release so it makes sense in both ways in the end. Let's wait and see what they say bout the next album and then we'll find out

Dance in the rain and Shhh! are obviously official singles. My only complaint about her singles discography would be the Its all love! (Kuu x misono) one. I wanted it to be labeled as a collaboration single rather than kuu's own single. Just like the Kuu x BoA one and the Kuu x Exile one :/

I count a release if it's eligible for and charts on Oricon. So, even though W FACE is a double album according to Koda's site, it's actually two separate recordings to Oricon. Just like I don't count Dance in The Rain and Shh! because they weren't eligible for Oricon singles chart.
