That scene in 0:07 is so predictable. So many of her videos have that. It's just her standing against a white wall with images being projected over her. It just looks cheap.

I mean, the rest of the video looks pretty great but then they added that rehashed cheap-looking set.

Just watched it. The song is kinda boring. Not catchy at all.

I'm in love with this song haha but I get what y'all say. I was expecting something... else, as well haha but I think this is what I wanted, I just hate those generic electronic k-pop of nowadays. the bridge is really reminiscent of 90s pop imo and I like it the only things I wish were different:

1 - there were some adlibs after the bridge. the song doesn't have the climax that it asks, imho.
2 - it didn't end so abruptly :'(

I like the song a lot. It's definitely a slower vibe but tonme it's absolutely not boring, which is so unique. It's no Hurricane Venus, but it's 100000+ times better than Kiss My Lips, and pretty much everything else off that album (except for Fox).

Nah it wasn't really people's favorites from her. We're so used to hard-hitting Girls On Top/Hurricane Venus BoA that when she ventured to do something a bit more... I don't know how to put it... soft? It just didn't sit well with a bunch of us. To me it felt that she was trying a bit too much to fit in with the regular Kpop scene. Which, actually, shouldn't be a fault since it was originally released for freaking Kpop. I guess for me personally I'm used to her trying to break the boundaries rather than stay in them.

I'm sure other people from here could go more in-depth with your question but that's the best I got. xD

However, all that said, I actually like Camo. The MV is a bit busy--lots of things going on in such a short amount of time--but I really, really like the song. She seemed to be having a lot of fun with that dance too. Can't wait to see performancessss.

Wow I didn't know it wasn't a favorite among fans! I assumed it was for some reason. I'm actually a hardcore BoA fan, and I consider it one of my favorite Korean lead singles she has released. The dance kind of gave me Copy & Paste vibes. I agree that it did seem like she was trying to do what other Kpop girls were doing, but I think she pulled it off great. I also agree that most of time I'm used to her being a lot more fierce than KML BoA, but I think it was cute to see her bring that softer/sexier side out.

I feel like her Korean music output has been a lot better than her Japanese output. I used to favor her Japanese more, but it seems like she has more style currently with her Korean music. Camo is definitely a bop for me, and the mv does have a lot going on, but visually it's beautiful. I also can't wait until she performs it live with her dancing! It surely will be amazing!

When BoA was promoting "Kiss my lips" I remember that after a performance she lost one feather (from those big feather fans her dancers used) and then went on social media to ask fans to return that feather (whoever picked it up).

At the time I thought that was a really stupid move. She's a millionaire and that's just one single feather. She came off as a cheapskate who doesn't care enough about her fans to let them have a single trinket.
