Billboard article about the tour: https://www.billboard.com/articles/n...endance-record
"No more additional dates in Japan will be announced -- at least for the time being -- but Amuro is currently considering offers to play in Shanghai and Guangzhou in China, South Korea, Singapore, and Kaohsiung in Taiwan." Lmao Singapore. I'm doubtful. But hey, if it does happen, I'm so gonna go. ![]()

5 years ago when Namie was supposed to perform here , Warner Music did a horrible crappy job in promoting her concert & the fact that S'pore Indoor Stadium can accommodate about 10,000 fans and yet she can't sell out the venue , it's so embarrassing -_-
Now that avex has an office here , hopefully they will do things much better & hell yeah I so would go see Namie perform if she really does come here to perform

Warner Music Singapore was not responsible for the fiasco that happened with the 20th Anniversary tour. In fact, I think they've got zero involvement with the tour in the first place. They were just involved in distributing releases from avex's Japanese artists. It was the conflict between Midas Promotions (company involved in promoting the show in Singapore) and On The Line (Japanese equivalent) that caused the cancellation. Also, Singapore Indoor Stadium can only seat up to "7,306–7,968 during concerts" (source).

I don't think Midas Promotion had enough experience to bring in JPop artistes here cos it's not in their expertise but still it was done really badly and unprofessionally
If other big Japanese artistes such as LUNA SEA , L'arc & most recently 2 weeks ago Suga Shikao can come here to perform , I don't see why Namie can't come back here to perform Problem's , if Namie was not under avex , other companies like Amuse & SOZO might be able to bring her in and between the 2 , I always like the way Amuse does things as they treat fans respectfully (they even write down the flight details of their artistes who come here so that fans can go to the airport and welcome them personally) Should Namie really perform here , I hope she can either perform at the S'pore Indoor Stadium if not Star Vista (great sound system & very much like Pacifico Yokohama) . Definitely not Sports Hub (even though the seating capacity is almost like a Dome) cos I know many artistes have sound issues when they performed there , only exception was Coldplay Also regarding the seating capacity for S'pore Indoor Stadium , it's between 4,000 - 12,000 so it really depends how many seats the organiser wants to open up inside http://www.sportshub.com.sg/venues/P...r-stadium.aspx For ONE OK ROCK's 1st performance in S'pore Indoor Stadium next month , Amuse wrote they've opened about 10,000 seats

I do know that the indoor stadium can seat up to 12,000 people, but that's mostly for sporting events. Besides, the set for the 20th anniversary tour was huge, I doubt it would seat 10,000 people. In fact, it was confirmed that they opened up 7,000 seats (source). Star Vista's theatre is quite unlikely because, well, it's a theatre lol. I'm well aware that pop concerts have been held there before but I think it's unlikely that a dome show would be downscaled to the Singaporean equivalent of a hall. Especially when it's most likely gonna be such a large scale one. But I guess anything can happen.
Regardless, it's interesting to see that the organising team is still considering to add more dates/locations still. QUEEN OF CASHING IN THAT RETIREMENT FUND. I'll gladly pay more to watch Namie in Singapore, on top of the 2 Tokyo shows that I'm already going for. Spoiler:

The venues that Namie will be performing outside of Japan don't have Dome seating capacity so I'm sure she will be able to do some modifications to the stage setup
I personally don't like Domes as I find them very intimidating . When my sister went Japan & attended her very 1st JPop concert which was seeing EXILE performed at Kyocera Dome Osaka , she was overwhelmed by how big the venue was inside So much so that there were many entrances/exits inside until she had to ask other fans how to exit the area cos the layout was quite confusing to her Also my sister spent about 40,000 Yen on the ticket which she bought on Yahoo Japan Auction but her seat wasn't good so most of the time she only saw EXILE perform via the screens :x I like Live House the most as the close proximity you get from the artiste onstage away from where you stand no matter how near or far you're is there . I don't get that same feeling if I'm in a Dome cos I would feel like a spark of dust inside the place and you only can see the artiste on screen if your seat is not good And seeing that next year will be the last time Namie will be going on tour before she retires next Sept , it doesn't surprise me that she has received offers to perform in other countries that're not on the list yet As for OOR , my friend's friend works in Amuse that's why I know . I'm not sure if I'm allowed to disclose the number of seats Amuse has open though oops but I know they opened more seats to cater for more demand

I didnt win any of my lottery for the tickets. Trying again for the JTB tour again before trying for the general lottery....that's my FINAL try. Is there anywhere that's selling resale tickets? I dont mind paying slightly more for the tickets. I want to see Namie LIVE!!!

Ken's Bar is Hirai Ken's concept concert where it takes place in a bar like acoustic setting which he started it in 1998 . And during Ken's Bar , he will sing a mixture of his own songs & covers , this time round he covered Namie , Austin Mahone , Nakajima Miyuki

Supposedly 1 of the reasons why Namie decides to perform at Kouhaku for the final time is partially due to her son Haruto
In http://tieba.baidu.com/p/5492927951 , it was mentioned that Haruto shown an interest in hip hop dancing & also plans to enter showbiz in the near future like his mum Hence Namie decides to perform at Kouhaku which she hopes by doing so NHK will be able to take care of Haruto if he wants to participate in any programmes that NHK organised Not 100% sure if it's true though

^ That doesn't really seem to be a reason that makes sense to me. This is the son of two famous parents; if he decides to go into entertainment like it is being speculated, any show will be opening its doors to have the son of Amuro and Sam on it; she wouldn't need to bargain for that to happen.

Namie will be singing Hero as part of this year's Kouhaku special project
She alongside with Southern All Stars' Kuwata Keisuke-san (who will be singing Wakai Hiroba) are the only 2 artistes that will not be part of either Red or White teams https://twitter.com/nhk_kouhaku/stat...44795928768512
