DAIGO will release his 5th solo single 真夏の残響 / 今夜、ノスタルジアで on 11th July !

This was announced earlier on during tonight / this month's instalment of DAIGO P !



Manatsu no Zankyou / Konya , Nostalgia de will be DAIGO's 4th overall double A-side single & his 1st since 2016's K S K

Release wise , Manatsu no Zankyou / Konya , Nostalgia de will be released 10 days before Solo debut 15th anniversary live [DAIGO VS DAIGO☆STARDUST] takes place on 21st July at Tokyo's Nakano Sun Plaza Hall

Credits wise , both A-sides were written & composed by GLAY's guitarist TAKURO who announced this himself as he appeared on DAIGO P , together with GLAY's vocalist TERU

Am I surprised over a new DAIGO solo release ? Not really cos I already expect the guys to focus more on solo activities this year

But what surprised me is that this time round , both Manatsu no Zankyou & Konya , Nostalgia de are not written + composed by DAIGO which's unusual as normally DAIGO handles everything , be it his solo and/or BREAKERZ wise

Then again knowing it's GLAY's TAKURO that wrote & composed both Manatsu no Zankyou + Konya , Nostalgia de , I wouldn't be surprised to hear GLAY influences in both tracks which's not a bad thing as I listen + respect GLAY

Hoping to see the covers & hear how both Manatsu no Zankyou + Konya , Nostalgia de will sound like in due time !
