^ That's not the smallest performance venue I know , Japan wise
Motion Blue yokohama is the smallest as it only can accommodate 150 people at max . I just listened to TOUGH for the first time. I found it to be very boring? There is not a single song on that album that got me excited and I deleted most of it. How was it recived here?

I hadn't listened to any of the singles besides the collaboration with Miliyah, so that didn't bother me. But you're right, it's kind of lazy to only include two new songs. If I had listened to the singles before, it would have disappointed me.
But that aside, I think it's not a good album. Most songs on it are so cliché and I wasn't even able to listen fully to most of them, since I found them to be really bad songs or just very boring. Besides Fighter, I only really liked 僕が死のうと思ったのは and 愛の歌 (which has a very nice melody I think). 愛詞, MISSING YOU and TOUGH are ok, and the rest I don't like at all. Too bad, since I really like her voice and was looking forward to that album. |

Yeah I listened to TOUGH the least out of Mika's studio albums , her last few albums were better
YES was the 1st Mika album I listened and bought . I still loved the image she went for in it even though quite a lot of songs were gospel inspired but I like it , the album put me in a calm mood I probably will like TOUGH more if Mika included more new material on it . Just 2 new songs is just o_O

It's forgettable IMO. Maybe besides the fact that it has some gems (Boku ga, Missing you Ai Kotoba and Biru Kaze), the rest of it is a bit blend. Koi wo suru is a cute old-school pop song, I've learned to enjoy it. Hanataba is a nice song, Mika seemed to experiment with her vocals a bit, it's somehow nice to listen to. I barely remember the rest.. The song TOUGH itself is nice, especially live, but she's done that type of song 100 times already. I didn't like Best Friend, Indigo is boring, Ai no Uta too, and GIFT and Fighter are ok songs. I only love them because they're a super cool collab of my two top artists. Oh and Alone is ok too, nothing special here.
Overall the flow is quite annoying, and the fact that there were barely any new songs on the album made me dislike it before I even listened to it.. Still a bit bitter about it after all this time waiting... ahah I'll stick to Boku ga and some other tracks, but like you, nothing too interesting. Hopefully the next one will be better.
