I don't like it as much as 1S2S, but it has a few nice bops on it, and is overall a really nice listen.

I have a long and complicated fandom with BoA, but until 1S2S, I never really loved most of her Korean stuff (other than a few things here and there), and always found the Japanese versions of songs to be superior. While Watashi Kono Mama de Ii no Kana was good, with a few really great songs on it - her Japanese music is so much less inspired than her Korean these days. Her Korean music is so much more fresh sounding, whereas her Japanese sounds like she's a balladeer waiting on her next MeriKuri. I hope she can bring some more of this edgy sound and image to her next Japanese work.

I think this album is just..fine. Kiss My Lips is still one of her more superior albums. This album feels like it just contains tracks leftover from that and 1S2S.

Same here. I think I never liked as many songs in her Korean releases as in her Japanese albums, but 1S2S was a hit for me and also felt so fresh yet so BoA. KML was also a good step-up from her previous Korean albums, but the direction she went for with 1S2S was more interesting to me. WOMAN feels like a continuation of KML, which is not bad buuuut didn't get me right away as 1S2S (which is the first and only release of hers I ever bought lol). Either way it's amazing how she put out so many great songs this year in different releases, all of them really great quality-wise!

I love me some BoA ballads, but I'm so glad this album had none cause there are so many great mid-tempo that a ballad may slow the album too much for me. the thing is I love her mid-tempo just as much as (tbh more than) her more fast-paced tracks (which she basically had none lately lmao).

she said there's still a Japanese single on the making - but by now I don't see it released before her X'mas live, unless its a special single release that day/venue.

btw, I read somewhere some people were doubting it was her doing the upside-down chores lmao damn, this is frigging BoA we are talking about lmao why one would ever doubt that??????

I also see the inspiration, but didn't think it was too much haha there are scenes that are the generic as fuck and a fucking rip off of formation at same time for me hahah (eg. the use of 90s vhs filter, the old blue car, the kids with the afro, sitting in the sofa with different woman haha)
But I also saw inspiration by a lot of other artists, from Kpop and western pop. It was a good homage to women artists imho haha but I get some people might think its just a cheap rip-off

I just played the album for the first time, it's really nice even though I prefer OSTS and her Japanese album.

My favorite tracks on the first listen are No Limit, WOMAN, I want you back, Good Love and Encounter.

I hope that there'll be a repackaged version of WOMAN. Probably with 1 or 2 more new songs. The last time she released a repackaged album was for Hurricane Venus. Copy and Paste.
