Don't re-use your login password elsewhere. Besides that - it's a discussion forum, what do you figure needs to be encrypted?

Not trying to be facetious...it's a public forum, indexed by any number of web crawlers (and that's a good thing)...I don't think anyone here is trying to hide any discussion...what would the point be? Mitigating MitM attacks?
