[For Singapore Fans] Anyone would really want Ayu in concert?
Konnichiwa Mina-chanz!~
I was taking a break from prelims examination preparations today and started wondering why Ayu hasn't held any concerts in Asia yet. Probably she's a busy young lady, but I think we shouldn't assume anything just like that. I was thinking that maybe Avex didn't think that her Asia fan base is big enough. But I don't think so right? I mean, there are so many ayu enthus. here...and I do so want Hamasaki in Singapore!!! So I'm proposing this intention: if there are people who are like me, really really really wanting Hamasaki in Singapore, we can submit a market research report PLUS a proposal in Japanese to Avex. I'm sure if there was a concert to be held in Singapore, fans from Asia would fly here to watch Ayu too. (I mean, what's wrong with the Singapore Indoor Stadium as a venue?) Proposals and market reports are not problems as long as I can get help. However, I can only devote myself to this after my O levels, i.e. In December. So I would really love to hear what you guys think about it. I know that earlier this year, there was a similar survey on how much fans are willing to pay for Ayu's concert. But I lost track of what happened, so maybe someone can advise me here? Remember, if you guys really want something, we can and WILL get it! Love, Wan=)

Huh, really arhz? That's so sad!
Frankly I have no idea how many Ayu fans there are who are willing to go for a concert in Singapore, but that's precisely why we have to do a market research. Hmm...we'll see. Thanks though ^^ Luv, Wan. =)

Only fans will know her as Ayu, normally ppl know her as Ayumi. If she come to Singapore, I'll pay for the most expensive ticket for the concert.

If you ask me, please don't think about it. Sure, it'd be nice having Ayu and all perform here, but let's face it, Avex taxes her with one too many tours a year - I think there were 40+ stops for this year's Arena Tour? Add to that the 10 or so days of a-nation, and she's performing live - on a tour scenario, not on CDTV, HEY!x3 or those music programs- once every week. Her vocals are pretty stressed - if you ask me, she sounded bad in a-nation '04. So please, give her the rest she needs. And I don't think the tours help her hearing problem, either. =X

Hmm~ Okiez.
We'll see. I'll draft out a letter to Avex in Japanese after my O's. I agree with the fact that Ayu's pretty stressed out, but maybe fans and Avex could work something win-win out. I think if Ayu were to come to Asia, she'd be doing it for the experience more than anything. We'll definitely see! Probably next time when she's made a guest again for MTV asia awards, she could give a mini-concert or something? Whatever it is, I still hope she can come to Singapore! ^^ I think if everything goes fine, a concert may be possible next year. We'll see. Luv, Wan.

Hello, seikatsu (may I call you that?), I"m Isaac, one of the admin of this forum.
First of all I would like to say hi. In fact I am living in Johor Bahru, Malaysia but now studying in KL. Ayumi concert has always been a dream for all of our fans. Unfortunately there were many issues that need to besolved in order to let ayumi not only come to singapore, but also other countries: 1. Are any companies ready to organize the concert? 2. The market, is ayumi wanted? 3. Is ayu's schedule OK for the event? Right now Avex haven't had such plans for ayumi yet because she still has many job and schedule pack up in Japan. She will probably at most going to nearby Countries such as Hong Kong or Taiwan..... Singapore's a little bit too far away. A fan's drive would not be enough. We need a company to support ayumi.... to pay her for the concert. Who wants to take it up? Currently no one. So it's a pity and therefore it puts us into a passive situation. |

Well.... If ayumi schedule is too tight then all of us can't help it... but if a fan drive is needed i think there will be alot of people who are willing to pay... the singaporean fans are not only in this forum there are more singaporeans fans in ayu-org and ayunite.. plus some out there too...i even noe some friends from other countries near singapore who are willing to fly to singapore if ayumi ever comes.. so i think there will be enough fans....

of course i will want ayu in singapore. But you see one reason may be because the market here is too small? I don't know exactly why either but in singapore, definitely not alot of people really listen to japanese music. There's this language barrier that many cannot overcome yet here in singapore. In my class of 40, less than 5 really listens to japanese music which is a disappointment to me >.<
