I’ve encountered the same sort of issue with videos on YouTube many times. Yes creators (over 500k subscribers), brands, corporations and artists (musicians and actors), have the option of having their videos protected from being shared (I.e. downloaded, recorded) via their settings. Creators don’t seem to care because they want the subscribers and feel it’s free advertising. Screen recording seems it’s the only way it’ll work for the Xmas Special. I’m really hoping someone will record it because I’ve been up all day and night and am starting to fall asleep
