Silly but fun story, and ody__*'s pictures are actually quite convincing. Thanks for the entertainment (and for tagging it [tabloid]) silentscreamer.

So, she smokes, she drinks, visits bars - even if this is true it's hardly a scandal. Maybe those chinese "reporters" will be more imaginative next time
At least they weren't mean to her in the story.


BTW The thread would be in Trash because the story is unlikley to be true - definatly nothing to do with it mentioning a gay bar.

Avex’s big sister [Ayu] made max the president of Avex, got drunk in a gay bar, now 25 years old Jpop queen Ayumi Hamasaki, supported her teacher Max, managed to make him stay in Avex, and was promoted to president of Avex. Ayumi, full of pride, was pictured in Japanese tabloid magazine <<Flash>>. Paparazzi caught her with crews in a gay bar, had lots of fun and got drunk. However, Ayu still wasn’t satisfied, she was supported by two men to another bar to continue, she went to 3 bars in total.

According to <<Flash>>, after was caught bringing Utada Hikaru to a gar bay, Ayu this month end was seen with her crews at a gar bar enjoying themselves around ten plus. Wearing a tube top and a mini skirt, Ayu was gossiping with the crews, she even mentioned about disliking someone. Ayu went to the toilet every 30mins, on her third trip, she couldn’t balance herself, and even sat on someone else’s table.

After Ayu left the bbq stall, she put on her sunglasses. As if a big sister bringing a men and crews , walking cool-ly into a gay bar to have fun. Ayu then with the help of two men, went to the third gar bar with KTV facilities to drink. She even sang her own song. And was also caught by paparazzi smoking in the bar. Around 3 am, ayu was brought into the car by two men home.

It's hard to tell with these kind of pics if it's who they claim it is, a couple of them look like Ayu, but a couple of them look like some kind of cheap look-alike.

I'm laughing so much. Is there someone who actually believe that? I was almost to see things in that article such as: avex, TOSHIBA and GIZA makes a-nation at gay bar. Honestly! Who else was missing? Namie amuro, Hitomi Yaida, Mai Kuraki and Tomiko Van? Oh no they probably got into the gay bar before the cameras reported them. Absurd LOL

Ayu can go and visit any bar she wants and/or get drunk and whatever but the way things are stated by that article makes things look honestly fake. And for those who are defending the fact that it is normal for ayu to go to a gay bar, the article is talking about it not in a natural way but in an insulting one. They used the words gay, drunk and "was talking about people she didn't like" as negative terms - their intention is to shock and make things look bad (2 basic principles of a tablois). That isn't just a tabloid, it's also homophobic and it says stupid things. You can believe if you want though, everyone is entitled to their opinions anyway. But at least add some criticism when read things instead of passively absorbing information.

heh , pretty funny if it's true. It's hard to say from the pics , but who knows ? We don't really the true Ayu , who is is behind her public image.

notice it's not just a bar , it's a gay bar ( 3 different gay bars actually) . I know girls go to gay bars to have fun so they don't have to be bothered by men , but makes me wonder if Ayu really is a gay icon ?

What would happen if this was actually true? I mean, while it's great to support Ayu (or anyone else you may like), do remember that Ayu isn't perfect. At times, she does make mistakes and she does do things which some of us may question of object. Ayu seems to mention the incident in the TeamAyu article, so I'm hoping that someone can translate it and help clarify the situation.

I don't see how this is a bad thing? Ayumi is a human being, she obviously likes to have fun, what's wrong with that? The people that are saying this is fake need to really open their eyes.

The message in TeamAyu is quite weird... it sounds like she knows about these articles and is defending herself?

It starts saying how she was 'caught', but then says things like don't worry, but if you can wait I can have a translation of it tomorrow. And the message before that on TeamAyu talks about recordin and arranging songs.

So there is some validity in it? I guess I'll wait for the translation, but the way I've seen it so far, it seems a bit hard for some people to think that Ayu might've actually been at a bar. She does have a social life outside singing, but it's just that it's somewhat rare to see it.
