but i have to admit "signal" was one of the most corny/girly songs ive ever heard (actually it was the first ayu song i heard). yup its very 80s or maybe 70s-ish.

I always though it sounded more 70s... but after reading this, it does sound a bit 80s too, I like it though. I like the A Song for XX album - it's got good tracks like FRIEND, FRIEND II, Wishing, YOU, POWDER SNOW, from your letter, For My Dear.

SIGNAL is an ok song, i like it very much, but have you heard SIGNAL (groove that soul mix)??? lol, that rmx is one of my top 10 fav ayu remixes... i LOVE it!!! it reminds me of Gloria Gaynor's "I will survive"... ^^

A song for XX's best songs (non-singles) are ASFXX, Wishing, from your letter and SIGNAL. And if you don't like the album, ayu-mi-x (Remix Club Side) is definitively a really good choice... =)

uhh...the vocals were FINE in a song for xx. And signal is one of my favorite songs. As for it being 80-ish i wouldn't know.
