Yup. And Ryuichi Sakamoto. The movie called 'Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence', directed by Nagisa Oshima. Brilliant movie. The soundtrack was done by, surprise surprise, indeed Ryuichi Sakamoto. Brilliant soundtrack. It's an instrumental track though; there's two vocal tracks on the album, one that's not so interesting for this thread, the other one is though. It's basically 'Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence', but with vocals by David Sylvian, and it's called 'Forbidden colours'. Brilliant song. Hear it.

On a sidenote, Kitano's brilliant in this movie.
