Do u think its time for Ayumi to have another A Best Album ?

A BEST was a very rushed album, though the songs were good, but if there was a 2nd one this soon, it would be terribly rushed and the song selection would not be that good. Fans would be very angry if avex did that... And that's a bad title, no offense. You can't have two things be the best. Maybe a single collection, but not another best album. Either way, I would buy it. I'm perfectly happy with A Ballads, I am.. and Memorial address.. Last edited by BanFan; 21st December 2004 at 09:33 PM.

no, i think that maybe if a first one hadn't been released it would be okay to release one now. the first one didn;t really make sense... she hadn't been on the scene long enough to really create a BEST one, in my opinion. only three albums to choose from and one new single! now that she has six full-length albums under her belt as well as a mini album, i think it would be a good idea to relase one now. but since she already released the first one, it would just be a bad idea.

I thought that technically "A BALLADS" was "A BEST 2," even though a few of the songs were recycled. I liked the original A BEST because it was my 1st Ayu album and gave me the chance to hear her major songs before I ever knew about ASFXX, LOVEppears, or Duty. After hearing A BEST was when I really became a fan. However, I think it's ridiculous to release another one so soon, especially since Ayu isn't taking a break or retiring.

No! Not a single collection. Considering she has a lot of decent album tracks, it'll go to waste. And single collections are boring, unless that particular artist's album tracks sucks.
A Ballads however, was unnecessary, it's just an alternative means to deliver a remix album in a slightly varied format. I didn't think A BEST was rushed at all, even if she only had 3 albums and 1 single, it was enough to fullfil a Best-of album. There were even great songs left out. People have to understand compilation albums are for the casual fans who don't buy her CDs all the time. I don't think it's too early for an A BEST 2 considering she has 4 albums worth of material to include, but seeing as selected material from certain recent albums aren't that outstanding, it wouldn't hurt to wait until another album and be more meticulous in the track selection.
