A Best 2?

I will agree with K 100% that A BALLADS was a repackaged remix album, and it didn't hurt that it sold over a million copies (regardless of what's been flying around recently, that album was certified as selling 1 million copies)

Fact of the matter is, we have had three full albums worth of material, and a mini album -- avex ALWAYS releases best of albums after every third album (fourth MAYBE), so this is due right on the money at this point. If they wait much longer, they might have to leave off too many tracks. The album could be easily filled with a new vocal and mix of 'I am...', then two re-dos of I am... singles, and the rest with the lead track off her other singles until now.

And it certainly isn't for retiring artists - BoA gets one in a few months, and ELT already has two under their belt, all after their third albums

I would rather have a remix album since I already have all the original hits. However, I wouldn't be too surprised if a new Best album was released.

Hn.. I am not so sure. It could both be a good or a bad idea. But right now I believe it is more appropriate to release a remix album as she hasn't released one for ages. That is my opinion anyhow.

No.Ayu didn't want to do A BEST so another one would just be a little silly.I would personally like to see another ayu-mi-x with an AOV or two.I'm a big fan of AOV.

Yeah she should definately come out with A Best 2 with all her amazing songs like........ forgiveness and... carols and hm... greatfuldays so then she can really show that she lost her mind and can come out with more crap to try to stay on top

I wouldn't mind another greatest hits collection if they were re-recorded. At least some of them. But the truth is, I don't feel any of the potential tracks would need to be re-recorded. Everything from "I Am..." onward still seems pretty fresh to me. I think 3 albums is too little for any compilation, just for that reason.

I'd like to see some remix albums again, they seemed to have a good thing going with that concept. But I thought the quality of those mixes sucked. There's gotta be higher quality remixes out there to choose from. I LOVE all kinds of dance music, and the euro albums were fine, but some of the trance stuff sounded like the mixer had cotton in his ears or something. And the songs were short, too! I don't understand how Avex could have released such an unskillful product.

NO!! I only bought it cuz I'm a die-hard fan! New remix albums including tracks from her latest and last album would be great though! Bring an Ayu-ro Mix 4 and Ayu-Trance 4 PLEASE AVEX!!

The "Best" albums are supposed to be when you've cranked out so much stuff that it... well- she's cranked out a lot of stuff, but it's definetly for people who are slowing down and such.

I'd much rather see some more trance music as well as some accoustic orchestra work. THEN maybe a compilation. But not for a while.

Well said, I fully agree. I own A BEST too, beats me why though - I have all regular albums and I'd loved to see any B-Sides featured on it; I never listen to it now. Of course, back when it was released, it did have M, which wasn't released back then of course. That was the only novelty to it. However, good point on the songs - a lot of great material was not included (and some mediocre material was - pity).

there's no point in another Best album. All it is is repeated songs on a new cd with a different cover. Sure, she may resing them.. but still. Even A Best wasn't needed.
