Ayumi's Childhood

SINGLE PARENT FAMILY

Nicknamed Ayu since when she was a child, Ayu was born in a single parent family - she only lived with her mother and her grandmother. She doesn't have any impression about her father. Her mother,also playing the role of her father, had to take quite a lot of jobs to support the whole family. Therefore, she couldn't pay too much attention to Ayumi. But everybody praised this young working mother. Besides having trend dressing sense, both of them (Ayu and her mother) looked so alike that it seemed that they more like twin sisters than Mum and daughter! And before Ayumi become famous, her mother was already telling people that she would be successful. And she is right after all!

LONELY CHILDHOOD

Ayumi once said to others that she never taste her mum's cooking before. She didn't even sleep with her mother also! And during her kindergarden years, her mother was always the last parent to pick Ayumi up. But Ayumi didn't hate her mum because of this. According to the teachers that have been taught Ayumi before, Ayumi was a mature kid, moreso than any other kid in the school. And thanks to her independant personality, she did not give way when she fight with boys!

Her mum also taught Ayumi with special things. She didn't press Ayumi into doing her homework, neither did she order Ayu that she must back to home as soon as after school. She just merely teach Ayumi that, she must take fully responsibility on whatever she does.

PROBLEM KID

On her tender age of 7, Ayumi had already become as a model. She had become the famous girl during her secondary school period. She seldom come to school, thanks to her modelling career. Therefore her teacher saw her as a problem student.
Moreover, because her trendy costumes, hair dying plus mixing with the bozokus, the neighboorhood had already thought that she was a bad girl. Thus forbid their kids to making friends with Ayumi. Ayumi's first love started around this time. It was her sempai in her school. Tall, handsome and a sporty guy, maked them a dreamy pair in everybody's eyes. But this puppy love only lasted for 3 years......

SUCCESSFUL CAREER

After her secondary schoollife, Ayumi finally left Fukuoka, her birthplace and headed to Tokyo, for her high school as well for her career. This also marks that the beginning of Ayumi Hamasaki. Her high school has also produced other female celebrities like Kyoko Fukada and Kato Ai.

When she was 15, Ayumi even got a chance to go business in New York! She was quite excited and shocked with the buildings and sky scrapers....though.

But now it's different, she has already familiar with all things on this planet. Although she was very famous and sucessful, she still won't forget of her birth place: Fukuoka.
