my story questions

hey everyone,

whats up with the my story (cd+dvd)(normal edition)(japan version) and my story (cd+dvd)(limited edition)(japan version)?

they seem the same cause both have the same cd and dvd...?

since the limited edition is no longer made (i presume cause its "limited" and no longer sold on yesasia or cdjapan), the normal edition is the one they sell now? (taking into consideration the fixed spelling mistakes avex made)

hmmmm, "normal" seems to me like a new version only fixing the spelling mistake everything else seems the same!

also, the overseas version is made by? avex taiwan? or avex hk?

There are overseas made by both Avex TW and Avex HK, but the one sold on yesasia is the one manufactured by Avex HK.

The difference between the limited edition CD+DVD and the regular version, is that the limited version comes in one of 4 limited edition covers.

I thought My Story wasn't copy protected - not entirely sure, don't have it yet, but that's what I remember hearing.

They drop the old method. That doesn't mean they're not using other method, but then again no copy protection ever worked.

yesasia always says that the japanese versions are copy protected but not the overseas... so overseas are not then? hmmmm

btw, what do you guys use to "rip" your cds with the copy protection? cdex? eac?

And if the original has CCCD, the OS version should. My OS Version 'SELF PORTRAIT' by hitomi did.

MY STORY isn't copy protected, regardless of version...apprently Avex left it to the artists' decision on whether they want their cds protected and most of them said no, including Ayu.

thats very tre. the OS version cd content is the same as the pretty pony~pretty pony~pretty pony~ ver one, so if pretty pony~pretty pony~pretty pony~ ver is cccd then the os ver is also cccd

It is not protected as the disc spaces had been used up by the tracks, so no more other things can b recorded on it...
