I would have never gotten into J-pop as much.

Although Namie Amuro was the first J-pop artist I listened to, no artist has stuck on like ayumi hamasaki.

The Japanese music industry would probably be in shambles. Hikaru Utada would probably be the biggest artist but her presence in Japan isn't very strong. You don't see artists dressing like Hikki. On the other hand, HALNA and a few others (even the Taiwanese Jolin Tsai :S) follow Ayu's image.

-KOSE would never become as big of a makeup company without a spokeswoman like Ayu (KOSE went from 4th to 2nd in their first cm with Ayu, and sold 500,000 units in two days with their second cm).
-Tu-Ka would never be able to catch up to NTT DoCoMo (Ayu ringtones have really helped Tu-Ka)

Hmm I wonder what kinda music I would listen to, if I didn't listen to J-pop O.o.

The Nail Art industry wouldn't exist in Asia.

I'm serious. She's the cause of the whole boom in nail art. Omg she's pretty scary in that way. So influential.

Ayu's songs gave me strength and courage to live on. Without the urge of eagerly waiting for her next release I really can't live on.

and oh yeah, AHS won't exist too! So we can't meet each other! Thanks to her we are here
Wow... Ayu really infleunced peopl more than I thought... GO AYU!

If Ayu didn't exist then I would have never have been into Japanese music, I'd probably end up being a part of that stupid-ass emo **** craze... So, Ayu... Thank you very much!

Well, I wouldn't be into Japanese music for one thing. I wasn't really into any artist or music in particular before I found out about her - she was when my music obsession came about. I'd probably just be into what my friends listened to *ew* I dont listen to much Jpop, she's a nice great change from what I usually listen to ^_^

well, i guess without Ayu, I would never have gotten into japanese music, because Ayu was the first j-pop artist I had ever listened to. And i probably wouldn't have started listening to Korean music either because after listening to Ayumi Hamasaki, I decided to listen to more international music

What he said was true. Since Ayu has been doing nail art in her PVs and her album pictures, the trend first started in Japan, then it spreaded to Taiwan, China, Hong Kong and finally South East Asia.

Without Ayu I probably wouldn't have the courage to go on in my left. Her music gave me lots of inspiration. It feels like i'm in the song feeling everything she has written. Ayu she never gives up even in the worst situations which gave me strength to tell myself to not give up as well. There was a time when i was really down but i told myself, I haven't even met Ayu yet how can i die. So i went to face my fear and in the end it was alright. Ayu will be in all of our hearts forever and ever untill we all rest in peace.
