New System of a Down CD, Mezmerize

1. Soldierside - Intro
2. BYOB
3. Revenga
4. Cigaro
5. Radio/Video
6. This Cocaine Makes Me Feel Like I'm On This Song
7. Violent Pornography
8. Question!
9. Sad Statue
10. Old School Hollywood
11. Lost In Hollywood

This CD leaked a couple of days ago, and I'm very impatient, so I couldn't help but download it (I will still be buying it, of course, like I do with all my other music), and it's simply AMAZING. I think that it's the best from them yet. SOAD have never disappointed me, and they're keeping on their trend of being amazing (even Steal This Album, which a lot of people didn't like, I loved). This album is very different from their other stuff, but they went in the right direction. There isn't one song I don't like on the CD. I don't know how many SOAD fans are on here, but this definitely looks like a contender for album of the year (next to the new Shakira and Avenged Sevenfold CDs, of course ). Serj is still as wacky as usual, and it shows in song like This Cocaine Makes Me Feel Like I'm On This Song and Violent Pornography. And of course, SOAD still can write great slower songs, like Lost In Hollywood. And Daron sings a lot more on this album, and it adds a nice touch to the songs. I recommend that everyone check it out.

Is it out already? I've been wondering about this. I used to be a huge SoaD fan a couple years ago. I really liked Choy Suey!, Toxicity, Aerials, ATWA...and pretty much everything else on their Toxicity album ^^"
=/ how much different are they?

It comes out May 17th, but it already leaked onto the internet, and I couldn't help but download it. And I'd say it's different like they change from each album. The self-titled sounds different than Toxicity, Toxicity sounds different than Steal This Album, and Steal This Album sounds different than Mezmerize. I love how they can re-invent themselves with each album.

They sound more rock this time? Like before they had a kind of rap feel...I could be wrong. I saw the video for their new song the tv last night.

Actually, the Zelda song wasn't them. It's by some band called Rabbit Joint. SOAD said it in an interview.
