Wasn't the first press of Free & Easy more common then the normal version sonce Free & Easy sold so little?

I always thought that the First press is the one without Ayu´s face, because this one is harder to find...anyway I have both Versions XD

cyborg_kurochan, after seeing your picture and after skal's comments, I want to post loud & clear to you that no one here appreciates a liar. None of what you've said about the cd sounds truthful, and the picture you've provided is clearly small so we can't see detail; and anyone who takes the time to compare will see that it is simply the cd-scan from Divine Ayu rotated slightly. (And obviously a scan, not a photo.) After listening again to my backups of the vocal tracks from skal and these, these are definitely the same files. My advice to you would be to admit the lie, because there's no fooling alot of people here who have been doing research on ayu's releases for years. Me, nick from eneabba.net, skal, and divine fang would ALL be able to call you on this lie. You have to realize alot of ayu fans know each other & support each other, and you've managed to steal content from two people and make up an ayu release that can't get past people like me & other AHS staff without cold hard proof. (Admittedly sometimes i make mistakes, and say that a release isn't real, but after seeing real honest-to-goodness proof i'll admit i messed up. But the info you've provided is NOT proof, it's fabricated.) Please admit the lie and apologize for it; I, personally, am willing to forgive it (at least a little) because you went through the trouble of reuploading all those vocal tracks, and they were due for a reupload. But ONLY if you give credit to skal, where it is due for those, and give credit to divinefang for the scan of the Acoustic Orchestra side disc, and admit that you made it all up.

On topic again, it is funny that the Free & Easy "limited" pressing is easier to find. I've seen ONE "regular" pressing at yahoo! auctions japan. Interestingly, it uses the same cloud picture as the "limited" release, just ayu's not stuck onto the background. I've also heard that the Daybreak single was supposed to be "limited" to 300,000 copies, but didn't sell that many; either that or it was supposed to have the clear plastic obi up to that many copies, but since it didn't sell any higher than that, no one ever saw the regular paper version of the obi. I haven't seen any evidence of that (promo version with the paper obi or anything), but I do remember hearing something like that.

Wasn't Daybreak limited to 300,000 copies because it was a recut single and wouldn't sell that much anyway? Like Appears (well, it wasn't released BEFORE the album...), kanariya, fly high ans SURREAL (same thing as the Appears single) were all "limited" because they weren't release before the album that they featured in and therefore would not sell a huge amount...

I was thinking that too... but like i said, i have no EVIDENCE really, i'd just HEARD something about the plastic obi being limited. Hang on, lemme look at something...

...back, okay, the discography page of ayu's A LIFE tour pamphlet tells you under the cd whenever a single was limited to 300,000 copies and it does NOT say that under "Daybreak". (Oddly, it says that the SURREAL single is limited, but not to 300,000. It doesn't give a number o_O)

So i would imagine the paper obi thing is PROBABLY true then. Something as official as her tour pamphlet would say if it was limited, esp. if it says that the other limited cds are.

Yeah, TeamAyu Tour Pamphlet says the same. I dunno, maybe after awhile they didn't think it was gonna sell any more so they just said "oh yeah, it's limited XD"

What phamlets are these? O_O Do they come with the DVD or are these phamlets FROM the tour?

Then again... I only have CDL04-05 which probably wont have this...

Pamphlets on sale from the tour... you can find them on ebay sometimes. I'm looking at page scans from ayumiss.ru though. And the pamphlet from 04-05 would probably have it, from what I've seen all the tour pamphlets have a discography page at the end.

I believe Daybreak was limited from the start, not after the fact. It was an album cut, after all.

I would imagine so too, given that AND the fact that later publications all called it limited.

Well, all the album-cut limited singles had reserve-your-copy-now-flyers (I have pictures of the ones for kanariya, appears, and I THINK this but i forget. lemme check...)
