i'm testing diff. ways, but i'm not sure it's possible on here...

a_____b

nope, dont think u can do it, but you can do the underscore and chnage the color to make it less apparent. thats all i can think of right now. (although it will look diff. in different skins)

I thought you could just insert a clear image between your text but as you can see in THIS word the colours won't match for everyone because of the way forum skins work.

If you do want to use that method use enter one or more [ IMG ]http://lebutler.lunarpages.com/perm/clearspacer50x1.gif[ /IMG ] where you want spaces (remove the gaps I added around the IMG commands to make them work)

An alternative is to write some/all of the message in an image editor and post the picture instead of typing it into the forum.

Te************st

Hehe, I used the blank space character and it looks like I'm trying to swear. Strange that it isn't accepted here. Works fine on other forums.

Here you go. Just use the image here between your text:

The one LeButler had wasn't transparent; that's why it didn't work. This one is. Use several in a row if need be.

See?<-Look at that beautiful space!
