again such topic??? I'm getting tired with all that staff! how many times should I say, that PV director makes the clips, stylist chooses the clothes, and composers make songs! (sometimes Ayu does, too)...

i just watched the MV and i think there are some similarities but if you didnt tell me in the first place i wouldnt have spotted the similarities between the two MV's

Same here, I never would have thought there was any similarities between the two, not even when they were running an ad here for DC's hits album with that video in it a while ago... it wasn't something I noticed much until I read the list here. It's most likely just similarities between them, not the first time there's similarities between videos, though.

i agree fairyland is quite similar to survivor. but then, survivor has a harder feel, while fairyland has a more cheerful abd lighter feel to it.
but the fairyland pv is nothing special, as impactbreaker has pointed out. the concept has been done so many times already

A beach setting isn't exactly the most original place to shoot a video.
Just because there are similarities doesn't mean you need to make connections that don't exist.

I see a few slight similarities in the beginning, but I do just think it's a coincidence. I can see why you'd get excited and make the connections. But the plot is actually quite different.

Definitely coincidence - nothing more. I know many PVs and movies with similar beginning and scenery because it's nothing original: only exotic beach on island...

I've seen this PV lots of times (more than fairyland lol) and I don't see many similarities.

MAN!!!! WILL THIS KINDA OF THREAD NEVER END!!!!!! well telling the truth someone is always going to be taking other's work as consideration. Why do we have to make it into such a big deal! It's just a video and yea ayu might have seen the video and wanted to do something similar and make it into ayu style so what!!?? The world is not going to end!! Plus I don't think those to pv are the same at all. They way the shot the two things and the emotions are soo different so yea!

About time someone applied a patent on 'PVs shot on a beach with close up face shots and dancing women' so people can end this sort of meaningless quarrel.
