Do you mean turd?
If so, i completely agree.
Though - don't think it's THAT bad of a song.

AND REMEMBER - she just released this after christmas.
People spent all their money.
Wait a month - it'll go up.

i disagree, since ppl already knew that the album was coming on 1/1 wouldnt they save sum $ for the purchase of the album? its not like it came unexpectedly n no1 has the $ to buy it.

Beat the oricon prediction by 100k though...

edit: I just looked at Soundscan sights, and they are way lower than the oricon ones. For example, Koda Kumi's best and Otsuka Ai's LOVE COOK. Plus it's from December 27-January 1st, so if it can actually sale this much before the sale date, then it would sale more after the sale date.
the oricon prediction wasnt a prediction of the sales #. it was a rating of how well the album will do.

Come on, not everybody buys albums in Japan anymore.. they're turning to other programs for music.
i think that statement is just exagerrated. ppl r still buying albums, look how many 1,000,000+ albums there were last year (10). on a yr-to-yr basis, cd sales in japan have increased from 2004->2005. also, more albums were bought in 2005 than in 2003.

I really doubt the story more albums were bought in 2005 than in 2003. I read an article from Yomiuri newspaper (the biggest in Japan, I guess) from this year saying how CD sales are dropping every year. They didn't mentioned anything about sales being better than 2003...

well look at the fact that in 2003 there were only 7x1,000,000+ albums; n in 2005 there were 10x1,000,000+ albums. also, if u add up the top 50 albums in 2003, u would get 29,732,880. last yr, u got 32,320,732

It seems that singles sold more in 2005 also, at least the top ones. Ayu sold more, but still did worse in the yearly chart.
