Always go for limited edition

At first I thought this thread was going to be about the new Gorillaz toys that are out (and $150+ US) that my boyfriend keeps drooling over. That's a dumb purchace for sure, imo lol.

*sigh* every time I think of the Gorillaz I'm reminded of my childhood crush on Damon Albarn. *sigh*

^ That dude from Blur? o___o

Always go for the limited edition is true, but if you alreadhy have the normal Demon Days, don't bother, unless you sell it off first.

The DVD and artwork are so costly though, a 22 dollar difference!

Go for the limited edition. You'll want the limited edition later on anyway and end up buying 2 copies like me. (For other CDs that is, not the Gorillaz one.)

Personally, if the extra price isn't a problem for you, I'd go with the limited edition (which is what I did do actually). BUT the booklet+dvd that come with it aren't really that special. It's nothing life changing just a video for 'Feel Good Inc', some 'commentary' by the Gorillaz, two really short animations, and a making of animatic for the video all of which are really short. And the two extra songs you can get by having the dvd you can just download on the net now.
The artwork in the extra booklet is nice, but it's not that special. Most of the artwork isn't even of the Gorillaz. And I wish it had come with full lyrics instead of just parts of the songs. :/

Oh! Plus it takes up twice as much room on your cd shelf. Which is only bothersome if you're me and are running out of space for cds. XD

So it's up to you really. Mainly I just bought it because it was the limited edition, I had a coupon that made it the same price as the normal one, and I didn't want to wait until someone ripped the extra songs so I could hear them.

I only own the special edition, and it's very nice. The booklet is cool. I'd say go for it, it is limited after all, and who knows when they're going to put out another album??

i always get limited edition, but it's never like double the price for me (usually just a few dollars more)..

why don't you get it in other places where it's not so pricey?
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...Fencoding=UTF8

new is 26 or if you look under the"used and new from.." theres a "brand new still sealed" for 13.99. i'd take that one if i were you.

Animatic : An animatic or story reel is made after the soundtrack is created, but before full animation begins. An animatic typically consists of pictures of the storyboard synchronized with the soundtrack.

Basically it's sketches set to the 'Feel Good Inc' music.
