Why all the hate for Ayu lately?

Even more puzzling, how can one person call themselves a devoted Ayu fan, when they can't even respect other Ayu fans and their opinions? I bet if Ayu saw these people constantly arguing on "her behalf" about what a goddess she is, and anyone who disagrees about how great all of her releases are should be exiled ..or something, she would say, "Geeze dude, just give it a rest and put a sock in it. I don't even care what people say about me half the time- that's why I come out with different material like Bold and Delicious and I wear big ice cream shaped cones for my concert promotion. It doesn't matter if people don't like everything about me or my music, I'm still rich and I'm still just as awesome. "

anyways, very well said rizilmine. of course it's understandable to be a fan of Ayu and want to support her in any way, but some people take it too far. Ayu wouldn't be where she if today if she didn't have to take leaps and improve herself.

What makes you think we are "critisizing" anyway? Saying our opinion is insulting? And not liking something Ayu does is also insulting? Seriously. We all support Ayu but we do NOT have to always enjoy everything she does. It's not our fault if we just don't like something.

Yeah, my opinions do change a lot over time.
But the whole INSPIRE/MY STORY/Bold & Delicious/(miss)understood (My notorious hatred songs/albums) hatred came from what were a few quick listens, and for the first two, the dislike was more from others viewpoints. I can honestly say, I didn't give any of those four mentioned singles/albums a good listen before I jumped onto the hate bandwagon. It's sad, but very true. It wasn't until I decided for myself, with some long music sessions, how much I really liked them. Startin', Born to Be, even CDL'05-'06, I've watched them several times, and still nothing. .-.

Who knows, maybe I'll like them one day, but I highly doubt it.

Ok, I don't think we need another "if you don't love everything that ayu does you hate her and aren't a true fan"/"If you love everything Ayu does then you're a blind monkey and aren't a true fan" conversation. If you want to see how this plays out, please read the other 1000 threads that have all came down to the same thing.

It would be amazing if we could all show some respect for eachother, especially those that disagree, but I guess that would be asking too much.
