Trendy or not, iPod has been (and will remain to be) the best portable audio player.
Massive storage, small & chic design, accessories, everything. The touch wheel alone and ease of use wins my vote. There is a reason that apple dominates 80% of the portable audio market. Apple knows what they're doing. I've had an iPod since the fourth generation, and have upgraded several times. iPod to iPod photo to the new iPod video. And yes, you can remove and replace the battery. (example) It's just a bit more involved than other audio players. I, however, have never had to deal with replacing the battery. I've never had any problems with any of them. And they have different versions to meet everyone's needs. If you're looking for something small and very afforable, and don't have very much music and/or money to spend - go for a shuffle or a nano. If you want the best of the best, go for the 60GB video. All other audio players are generally very ugly and/or large. Many try to imitate the iPod's seamless design, but of course, cannot accomplish. I'm not trying to sound elitist or like an apple-fanboy, but I have been around and used many, many audio players. Nothing can compare. I myself also have a D-Snap, but once I got an iPod, it was useless. Low-quality camera, not very versatile when it comes through navigating through the audio player itself. And the audio formats are limited.. I guess if you want some something very simple and merely "functional" go for something smaller and cheaper. But if you want something beyond satisfying with a very beautiful design and graphical interface and unimaginable ease of use, the iPod reigns. And I forgot to mention, iPods can surely take a beating. Last edited by CREA; 26th April 2006 at 12:14 AM. |

Despite what CREA says, I'm still going to have to go with Creative. Creative is known for their expertise in the sound department, and their mp3 players are no exception.

I have the newest iPod, 30 Gb with video. But I'm afraid to use it, since it cost over 300 euros to me. Thought I would like to take it with me to places. Does anyone know where I should try looking for since I want to buy the new D-snap that Ayu commerciales?

iPod. My baby. My life.
![]() The D-Snap looks cool too, my Japanese friend has the one which Ayu uses in the 'My Name's Woman' Panasonic CM.
