Question Do you think melodies in ayu’s songs sometimes over-repeated??

Well…I’ve been realizing this matter from No way to say. In my opinion, No way to say is just a nice upbeat ballad, but it’s just over-repeated at the very end…

Then Moments…the chorus at last has been repeated…I can’t remember how many times…

The recent example is rainy day…the same melodies over and over…it does sound like rainy in this matter…but also it drives the song a little boring. After my very first time to listen to rainy day, I asked “is that all??”

The same with Dolls...once my friend told me “there’s a song in RAINBOW, I don’t remember the title, which is repeated over and over…I’m curious that when it will end when listening.” “Dolls!” I said. However, the chorus of Dolls sounds pure and much better than rainy day or the others.

I know that repeating can help to impress people, BUT, I still think the song will work much better without those melodies on and on. Otherwise, keep the melodies but just do some big changes on it when repeating – rainy day just changes such a little bit at the very end of it (that’s not enough!!)

I think the best example of nice repeat is Boys & Girls…

So would you like to share your opinions??
